(Ashton's POV)

*group text w unsung youth sans Lyric*

Ash: okay, so I am planning to propose to Lyric tomorrow, guys and I need your help

Lycia: what do you need?

Ash: well I'm going to do it at the beginning of your concert, so I'll need one of you to call me up on the stage.

Daisy: I think we can arrange that.

Tasia: hey just don't take forever we gotta set list to do, ash. You don't see us coming to your shows, proposing to people.

Ash: oh quit bustin' my balls and help me.

Tasia: deal. Good luck, Irwin.

(Lyric's POV) *morning*

I was bombarded this morning by two ridiculous bands throwing confetti and streamers at me. Squeals and shouts filled my ear drums before I even opened my eyes

Ashton jumped on top of me and shouted in my ear. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" And laughed really hard.

Everyone jumped on my bed and Louanne brought in a cake with one of my baby picture printed on it. As I got up Lou took a video of me blowing out my candles Tasia snapped a birthday hat onto my head. Eventually, everyone left to get ready and I hopped in the shower. Since we weren't doing anything fancy before the show tonight, I threw on my favorite Blink 182 shirt with black shorts and some combat boots. Lycia walked into the bathroom with a black bustier top and some high waisted shorts and floral combat boots.

"Always stylin', bitch." We high fived.

"Hell yeah!" I shouted.

We all raced out of the hotel to the van, and everyone was already ready to go. I looked around at everybody and how they were dressed, in band tees, crop tops, destroyed shirts and dark jeans or shorts, with combat boots or converse or vans. We all wore a beanie or a snapback, or bandana on our heads. And all of the colors we wore were dark, except for Ashton's red bandana and Lycia's boots.

"We look like those badass kids you see walking down the street that your parents told you to stay away from." I stated, breaking the silence.

"Hell fucking yeah! We're punk rock!" Mikey rose a fist to the air.

"Oh my god, no! one of the most punk rock songs you guys have made was LITERALLY called pizza, babe!" Daisy shouted, slamming her fist down.

We all laughed and joked around and throughout the ride as always, Ash absent-mindedly played with my hair and occasionally whispered I love you's in my ear.

"You're especially lovey-dovey today." I noted, play with the hole at the bottom of Ash's shirt.

"Well, it's your birthday! I think you deserve it. Especially because you don't get your present until later."

"Oo I can't wait." I squealed.

We all climbed out of the van like it was a clown car, onto the crowded sidewalk. We were just walking around today, which meant more shopping, and a lot of fans.

"Mama Irwin told me to say Happy Birthday for her." Ash smiled as he texted his mom back.

"Well tell her thank you and that I can't wait to see her this Christmas." I am so happy that Ash's family likes me, because I was so nervous and weird the first time I met them.

For the rest of the day we shopped and saw quite a bit of fans everywhere we went. They mostly wanted to talk to the boys, which I was totally okay with. A few granted me a happy birthday and took some pictures with me and the girls, but other than that, we just ran around the streets in Ohio. We got a few dirty looks from some older people, but I didn't really care. This is the most fun I've had in a long time. No interviews, no photo shoots, no no stress. Just my best friends in the world.

When we sat down to eat Ash looked over at me concerned, "What's wrong, baby?" He frowned.

I huffed, "I'm just having a lot of fun with you, and I'm sad it'll be over soon. I hate always being apart from you. It almost makes my career not worth it." I whispered. Luckily, no one was paying attention to us right now.

"Hey, listen. I will do whatever it takes to see you as much as I can. I will work my hardest to make this work, because you are what matters to me. I know you don't mean that you want to give up all this. You've come too far. We will see each other more, I promise. The boys and I have off for about a month and a half. Would you want me to join you on tour?" Ash's voice soothed me and brought me clarity.

"I don't want you to spend all your off time with just me. You should go back to Australia to see your family for a bit." I told him. I would love to keep Ash with me on tour, but all the drama that comes with it is truly stressful.

"I'm going to stay with you for one more week. Then, I'll go back to Australia. Promise."

He kissed my forehead and we joined the groups ridiculous conversation on what color Mikey and Daisy were going to dye their hair.

"I kinda want to get another tattoo today." I chimed in.

"Well then let's go after this." Tasia said through chewing her food. "My friend actually owns one a couple streets down from here."

We went to this little shop called Tattoos N Things. Only Ash, Cal and Lycia and Tasia came with me. Calum and Lycia have been really close lately, which is good I guess.

"Hi, I don't have an appointment, but I'd like to get a tattoo done. I already know what I want to get. I just want the letters AFI right under my right collarbone." I told the man at the front of the shop. Ash smiled at me. Really? He mouthed. I nodded happily at him.

"Hi, I called Barney a few minutes ago and set up my friend's appointment it's her birthday." Tasia sassily informed the somewhat scary man.

"Barney!!! We got someone claiming to have called you a few minutes ago." The gruff man yelled into the back of the shop.

Out emerged a man covered in tattoos and piercings, "Tasia? So great to see you. I'm actually closing up shop early to see your show tonight." Barney hugged her.

"So nice to meet you. I'm a huge fan." Barney shook Ashton's hand.

"Thanks man." Ash laughed.

"Alright well let's get you tatted. Have you gotten a tattoo before?" He asked as he got his supplies ready.

"Yeah. I have a quote in my torso. And one on my hipbone." Ash squeezed my hand as I layed down. My hair pressed went into my shirt and tickled my neck while Ash rubbed his thumb over my hand.

"Ash, love, I'm fine. I'm a big girl, I'm okay." I patted his hand on top of mine.

"This is more for me than you." He chuckled nervously, squeezing my hand tighter.

"Alright." I giggled. "Thank you for being nervous FOR me." I teased and pecked his cheek.

It was over in no time and Barney wiped off the excess and put some gel on it. "I'll take you up at the front." He slipped his gloves off and walked off.

"I'm paying for it. You don't have a choice. It's my second birthday present to you." Ashton smirked as he wrapped his arm around me and paid for my tattoo.

I was so happy, and my friends were so happy. Cal and Lycia sat looking at the weird tattoos and giggling and flirting. This concert is gonna be the cherry on top of the birthday cake.
