I woke up to Ashton lightly snoring and his legs enveloped in mine. I tried to slip out of his grip as not to wake him, but it didn't work. He shifted in his sleep and rubbed his eyes.
He held out his arms, "Cuddle me." He mumbled, his eyes still closed.
I smiled and slid back into his arms and he hugged me tightly. It felt good to lay here with him.
"What time is it?" He asked.
"S'only 7. You can go back to bed." He groaned. "I have an interview later on today with the girls." I told him sitting up, checking my phone. Lycia texted the band, gushing about her night with Calum.
(Unsung Youth group text)
Lycia: so me and cal sat on his bed talking about music and just talking about everything all night. And you know how you guys always make fun of me about wondering about pigeons about feelings?! We had an hour long conversation about that and we just cuddled for the rest of the night. And I think I heard him say I really like you before we fell asleep
Lyric: chill baby chill
Daisy: get it in😏
Tasia: whoo go Lycia
Daisy: sorry guys that was Mikey
Lycia: see you guys in a couple hours.
(Lycia's POV) *last night*
"Well Lyr just called me, can I stay here tonight?" I turned to look at Calum who was jumping on the bed.
"Yes!! YAYY!!" He jumped off the bed and ran to hug me.
We laughed and jumped around. While Cal was in the bathroom, I got a notification from twitter: '@Calum5SOS: sleepover with my best friend☺️☺️' I smiled and put my phone away. He walked back in and asked loudly, "Do you think pigeons have feelings? Like if another pigeon took it's food or something that it would be angry?"
"OH MY GOD!! I ask the girls that all the time and they just tell me to shut the fuck up." We both burst into fits of laughter, and carried on talking about literally everything.
There was a moment of silence before I said. "You know what, I'm really glad that I'm staying here tonight." A small smile crept on my face while I placed a hand on top of his.
"Me too." He whispered.
With such ease, we led back into our random conversation. Around 2 in the morning, Calum climbed under the covers.
"Snuggle?" He held his arms open like a little kid. I nodded and laid beside him. He stroked my hair as I buried my head into his chest, dozing off.
