As usual I didn't have to be in work till later on. So I spent the morning and early afternoon with Bella at the park. It was mid-August and the weather was super nice, as the sun beamed across the blue sky.

At 5pm I was back in work after dropping her at Zoe's. I was giving the usual tasks of helping prep reading cards and running around for the producers. Colin had been busy going through lines for the weekend update all evening, so I didn't get chance to see him until I watching him perform. After the show i waited for him in his office with my overnight bag.

Slowly the hours went by as I continued to wait. I assumed he was busy finishing up or discussing the show with the other senior members of staff, but as the clock hit 3am I had had enough of waiting. I had been sat in his office with the door closed. When I opened it I had expected to find a couple of people still running around, but that was the the case. The entire place was as silent as the grave. All the lights were off and there not a single person around.

I didn't do very well with the dark and being completely alone in such a large space made me want to be sick. Quickly, I turned the torch on my phone and ran towards the elevator and made my way down to the entrance hall of the building. Thankfully the lights were on here and an old security guard sat by the reception desk.

It was nearly 3:30 am now, I had well and truly missed the last ferry home and had no cash for a taxi back. I could only think of one number to call.

"Hello?" The husky voice grumbled as the line picked up.

"Q, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to wake you" I cried as I felt my eyes burn with the threat of tears.

"Apple, hey, it's okay. Where are you? What's wrong" he asked sounding slightly more awake now.

I told him what happened and he promised to come and get me. "I'll be there in 40 okay" he reassured me.

Q had called me back once he was in the car and stayed on the phone with me until he pulled up outside. As soon as I jumped into the passenger seat and saw him, the tears that I had been holding back forced themselves out as I began to cry.

"Hey, it's okay. I'll take you back to mine okay" he whispered and pulled me into a tight hug.

I must of fallen asleep on the journey home as the next thing I remember is waking that morning in bed.

"Hey" I grumbled as I turned around and saw Q lying next to me.

"Hey yourself" he smiled.

I looked over at my watch and cursed.

"Its okay, I called Zoe. Told her we'd  pick Bella up at 11 instead. Thought you'd need the sleep" he explained as I felt him reach out for me and place a hand on my hip.

"I can't believe he just left me there" I sighed.

"He's a fucking idiot, doesn't know a good thing when he has it"

"Had it. I'm done with that. I want to be made to feel good. Not like some cheap office mistress" I grumbled and turned around onto my stomach and pushed my face into the pillow.

"You still wanna go out today?" Q asked as he stoked my back.

"Fuck yeah" I smiled and turned my head slightly to face him
