I woke up the next morning with a text from Apple.
Let me know when you're ready to talk. X
"I was ready to talk last night before you chucked me out" I yelled at my phone and chucked it across the bed.
After a 10 minute internal rage I pulled myself out of bed and got ready for the day. We would be shooting the TV show in central park today and I had to get my mind in the right place.
"I hate shooting on a Sunday" I heard Murr grumble as I walked over to Sal.
"Oh dear, what's happened now" Sal asked.
"What?" I snapped.
"You look super stressed. What's happened with Apple?"
"I learnt some pretty raw truths last night. I can't get into all of it, but she's basically been lying about who she is, and she's back with Colin"
"Yeah, I saw this on his insta" Sal cringed and passed me his phone.
On the screen was a picture of Colin with his arms around Bella and Apple. The caption was 'No one else. I'm one lucky guy.
"Great" I groaned and placed him back the phone.
"So this lie, was it bad?"
"Yeah, pretty bad"
"Then forget about her. You needed an out and now the gods have presented one. Forget about it"
"I can't, I really like her Sal. The thought of not even being her friend sucks".
Sal just shrugged and not longer later we were busy shooting the challenge. It was a real struggle for me to play the usual dopy funny Q from Impractical Jokers. Yet I did my best and played the part as we pretended to be hot dog sellers in the park. By 4 o clock we have wrapped for the day.
"Wanna grab a drink?" Murr asked.
"He needs it" Sal added.
I couldn't argue with that, and agreed to head out to a near by dive bar with the two of them.
"I miss when Joe use to come out with us" Murr sighed as the bartender passed us our drinks at the bar.
"He's got a wife now" Sal shrugged.
"Yeah, I thought we'd be losing Q for a moment as well" Murr joked.
"Fuck, that is one thing we don't need to worry ablut" I scoffed and downed half the beer.
"At a boy" Sal laughed.
By 8pm we were all pretty wasted and decided to head back home.
"We should egg her house" Sal laughed as we rode back to Staten Island in the taxi.
"Whose?" I laughed.
"Apples" Sal replied.
"Fuck, we should get some Apple's as well to throw" Murr chuckled.
So that's how we ended up at the corner shop under Apple's apartment buying eggs and Apple's at 9pm, drunk out of minds.
"This is for hurting our Q" Murr shouted out first and chucked an egg at Apple's window.
"What kind of name is Apple anyways" Sal joined in and threw an Apple, but missed the window as it splatted on the wall.
"I brought you grocerys" I yelled louder and threw an egg.
As I was bending down to pick out an Apple. The human Apple came to her window and pulled it open.
"What the..." she yelled but then stopped when we saw the three of us giggling on the street below.
"What the hell guys" she yelled again.
"Screw you" I shouted and chucked the Apple at her other window.
"Oh fuck" Murr mumbled as the apple smashed through the glass.
Apples eye went wide as she slammed the window shut, and then appearing less than a minute later as she stormed out of her block.
"What the actual fuck" she screamed this time and pushed me.
"We didn't mean to" Sal stuttered.
"Shut it you or I'll call Zoe" she hissed as Sal instantly went quiet and looked down at his feet like a naughty child.
"We just" Murr mumbled.
"You too" she snapped before turning back to me red faced.
"Brian" she spoke spookily calmly.
"Apple" I hiccuped.
"You're drunk" she sighed.
"Maybeeeee, what's it got to you with you huh? Pushing me around like that. Not very nice"
"You broke my window"
"I'm a fireman" I announced proudly.
"Jesus" she mumbled and ran her hand over her hair.
"I love your red hair" I hiccuped again.
"Inside now... all of you" she ordered and shook her head as she pointed at the building.
The three of us looked down at our feet and slowly walked inside. When we got into her apartment, Apple ordered us to sit down as she went to get three glasses of water.
"Brian?" Bella giggled as she walked into the living room.
"Their drunk sweetie, go and play in your room" Apple smiled and then turned back to us with anger and passed the glasses of water.
Bella did what she was told as I waved bye to her and she giggled. Apple sat down on the other one seater and shook her head as she looked at the broken glass on her floor.
"A fucking apple guys, like really?"
"We're sorry Apple" Murr cringed.
"I'll call you guys a taxi" she sighed and pulled out her phone.
"Where's Colin?" I asked and looked around the room.
"Hiding in the fridge Q" she shot back sarcastically.
10 minutes of silence later the taxi pulled up outside. Apple walked us out and told the driver where to go.
"I'll fix the window" I mumbled as I stood by the car door and turned to face her.
"Whatever Q. Just go home" she sighed before turning away.
