I had spent the night at Colins. When we had finished, I had hoped he would of helped me reached the same release, but to my disappoint he had just lead me upstairs into his bed and then fell asleep. The next morning I woke up with a pain between my legs and red raw bum.
"Fuck" I groaned as I turned around and looked at the clock. I had to be in work in an hour and had no fresh clothes.
"Where you going" Colin grumbled as I leant up in bed and tried to force myself awake.
"Work" I laughed.
"I don't have to be in till 10, probably best we don't walk in together anyways" he shrugged and began to flick through his phone.
I didn't know what to make of him. Had I just had my first one night stand, or was this to be the start of something. The sex had been pretty hot, expect for the fact that I never actually climaxed and he was perhaps a little too rough. Either way I felt cheap and nasty.
Shaking my head I walked out of the room and began to pick up my clothes that were thrown around the living room. I quickly pulled them back on, tried to straighten my messy hair and old make up and then left for work without another word to Colin.
"Apollonia" Jorma spoke in a stern voice as he placed a coffee on my desk.
"Ummm" I groaned without looking up from my screen.
"You are in the same clothes as yesterday. You look homeless" he chuckled.
"I feel rough enough to be" I moaned and began to rub my temples.
"Go home, you can do your bits from there. I'll call you if I need you"
"You sure?" I smiled
"Yes, you stink" he laughed before walking away.
Not long later I was walking off the ferry on Staten Island. All I wanted to do was go home and shower. It was already 12pm and I was done with today.
Heading across the ferry dock I dragged my feet over to the bus stop. When I heard someone call out from behind me.
"Fuck" I grumbled as I turned around to see Q walking over to me.
"Wow, you look..." he laughed once he was closer.
"Like shit, yeah I know" I groaned.
"Aren't they the same... guess someone's lunch date went well yesterday" he smiled but I knew he was forcing it as his lips twisted to the side.
"Whatcha doing here?" I asked and tried to sound friendly.
"We've just finished shooting a bit for the show. Hey, you want a ride home?"
I looked down at my watch, the next bus wasn't due for another half hour so I nodded and smiled.
"Here give me this, I just need to finish up with the team and then we can shot" Q informed me as he took my laptop case and threw it over his shoulder.
I waited inside his jeep whilst he finished up and 15 minutes later we were driving through town.
"Whose the lucky guy then huh?" Q asked after a long period of silence.
I just looked at him and rolled my eyes.
"Its not Colin is it, he's such a jerk" he laughed.
I stayed silent and looked down at my hands.
"Oh" he whispered.
Q fell silent again as I watch his grip on the wheel tighten.
"Well he best treat you right, or he'll have me to deal with" Q finally spoke again.
"I don't think it will be happening again" I scoffed.
"How come?" He asked and took a quick worried glance at me.
"You don't wanna hear about it" I sighed.
"Come on, you can tell me, were friends right?" He laughed.
I sighed again and closed my eyes. "He was very selfish and a little too rough... You know... in... bed. And then this morning he just treated me like some cheap hooker. So yeah..."
"He didn't hurt you did he?" Q asked, this time his worried expression turned to anger and disgust.
"No, I mean... It just wasn't my kind of thing. I never usually act like that anyways, but I was wasted and just, you know, let him do his thing" I sighed heavily again.
Again silence filled the car, but this time it remained until we reached my apartment block. Q walked me to my apartment and accepted my offer for coffee.
"Fucking great" I cursed as I tried to flick on the lights.
None of the power was working in the place. I soon realised why when I checked my power box and saw the the credit had run out.
"I didn't know they still did power pay as you go boxes" Q laughed.
I just sighed at him and pulled out my purse, I had no cash on me but hoped my credit card would work. "I'll be back in a sec" I called out and walked downstairs to the corner shop underneath my block.
As if my luck could not get any worse, my card was declined. I had literally no money for power, let alone for anything else to keep me and Bella going until pay day. When I got back to my apartment, Q was sat on the couch playing with his phone.
"Sorted?" He asked as I flopped down next to him.
"Not really, hey listen, I'm not really good company right now, maybe you should just"
"Why couldn't you get any credit, is the shop closed? I can drive you to another if you need?" Q inturpted
"No... I, fuck. I have no money" I sighed and felt my eyes begin to burn with the threat of tears.
Q twisted his body on the couch to face me and smiled softly. "Give me the card, you can pay me back when you get paid".
I couldn't look up at him as I looked down at the power card in my hands. I felt like a complete fuck up, not only had I acted like a complete slut, I was now a slut that couldn't even pay her own bills. Hot tears were now rolling down my cheeks as Q gently pulled the card from my gasp and then walked out of the apartment. Whilst he was at the shop, I pulled myself from the couch and went to run the shower.
Half way through my shower as I let the hot water wash over my body, the lights came back on in the bathroom. After I finished washing the conditioner from my hair, I wrapped myself in a towel and walked back out to the living room. I was expecting to find Q waiting there, but my apartment was empty. Sighing heavily I walked back into the bedroom and changed into a long vest top and PJ shorts. Crawling into bed, I pulled out my MacBook and began answering a few emails.
