LANCE

Keith was taking forever. I showed him where the showers were. Pidge being the genius she is and with Hunk's help they got the water to run in this portion of the mall.

I tapped my foot impatiently.

I know it's been a while but come on.

Opening the door I stepped into the foggy bathroom and spotted Keith standing near the sinks with just his black skinny jeans on.

Water droplets glistened on his bare muscled chest and shoulders. He paused in toweling his hair to look at me.

"I uh- I was thinking you maybe fell and hit your head or something." I stammered looking away. I could feel the heat on my cheeks as I tore my eyes away from his well sculpted body.

"I'm almost done. Just needed to dry off." He shrugged tossing the towel over the sink. He tugged his t-shirt over his head.

I felt disappointment wash through me.

Geez Lance you just met this guy.

I rubbed the back of my neck sheepishly as he brushed past me toward the door.

"Let's talk to the others." Keith flashed me a small smile that made my stomach flutter.

Pidge and Hunk were seated in one of the theaters talking about their findings.

"Hey guys, go shopping?" Pidge grinned taking in Keith's new wardrobe.

"Yeah, and we were talking. Look guys I know things seem pretty great here, but the truth is we are all alone and no one is going to come find us.

We will eventually run out of supplies and have to leave.

Keith's been outside. He can lead us. I want to go with him to Garrison. There's a better chance of finding more people." I explained.

"People we know. " I added recalling the events that took place here at the mall.

"He's kind of right Hunk. I have to get out there and find my brother." Pidge nodded in agreement.

"Do you think we will find them?" Hunk asked turning to Keith.

Violet eyes met mine and I nodded giving him permission.

"There is no guarantee to anything. Not in this world, but I just know Shiro is out there somewhere and I won't stop until I find him. He never gave up on me, and I won't give up on him." Keith's hands clenched into fists at his sides.

"I don't like it. There's a lot of unknown out there and I know at least in here we are safe, but if they are going then count me in." Hunk agreed.

"Well what's the plan then?" Pidge asked.

"We take a couple of days to gather supplies we will need. Anything you can carry that won't be a burden or slow you down. We arm ourselves, and we should be ready to go." Keith listed things off on his fingers.

"We don't really know how to fight." Hunk pointed out.

"It's all instinct." Keith frowned. A dark shadow fell over his face.

Something terrible must have happened out there.

"Okay first thing in the morning we will start loading up on supplies." Pidge held her hand out. Hunk placed his over hers and I placed mine over his.

Three pairs of eyes turned to stare at Keith. He raised a questioning brow before groaning inwardly and placed his hand over mine.

"Alright!" I grinned. My gaze locked with Keith's and I felt myself blush.
