on days like this
i wish that i knew
where i could go
to find the right way
to be the best i can be
but there's nothing that i can say
or do
to change
what i've done
inside
i'm sorry for hurting you
but i can't change you
i can only recreate you
i love you,
but i take you for granted
knowing i only have one body
one mind
one single life
i throw it all away
in strife
because i
am stuck
and do not tell me it's easy
do not tell me it's okay
because i have gone numb
gone empty
and i don't feel
each passing day
i wish i did
i wish i could feel the precious worth in my life
like november
but i can only feel
stuck and sorry for myself
you make me so happy
