So it was him, at all the fault. No matter how many times the tape recorder made him hear that he wasn't the one, he knew he was at all fault. He was the one who did all this, the reason she is right now on the verge of dying is because he was selfish "Just admit it dammit, it was you... it is only you" he punched the steering wheel.

"Oh yes it was only and only your fault. Because you were the one who had left her to live alone in all these years not even thinking that being a wife she would be expecting her husband at home with her. Because it was you who just thought that you could easily swap her and Riddhima when your heart knows that you just can't. Because it was you who did not listen to me when I kept shouting that she needed to be at all the right places, that she had to be there standing right next to you right there taking all the credit that your wife deserves and holding your hand walking with all the pride of being Mrs Gauri Omkara Singh Oberoi, instead of still calling herself Gauri Kumari Sharma even after these six years of marriage... IDIOT!!!" his subconscious as if scolded him for long as if sitting right next to him.

"I know but I thought she was there for money and fame. I just did not want to have what she wanted. I don't know, I saw Swetlana in her since the beginning" he tried to reason himself.

"Oh yes, and you did not even ask her why was she here and what she wanted. And even if she would have said you would not have believed isn't it?" he sighed. "You should have asked her for once. You would have sat down and talked to her like normal people do. You should have tried to understand her. You know what the thing that you saw Swetlana in her had brought her to the hospital bed, just think the same for some more time and you will send her to the heavens" his subconscious yelled.

"She is not dying. I won't let her die" he stated determinately.

"As if you are going to prison her soul as you did to her living self all these years wouldn't you?" he frowned "What do you mean?". "You know what, she is living like a prisoner who is faking happiness in this world of yours and you know that. She is a prisoner of this relationship, this commitment and most importantly the love that she has for you. You know what this prison could have been a lifesaver for her, but when you snatched that love which was her light in the prison she decided to quit rather than live in the darkness. She is just doing what every prisoner does in the black hole, just struggling to get free even if it takes her life. The only difference is that the others are culprits and she was made a culprit" his subconscious told him again.

"How do you know all this?" he asked his subconscious. "Because you know that yourself, idiot. I am your soul's voice, obviously I know whatever you know about her. I know what you feel about her. I know the each time that she had cried for you. Don't you?" his subconscious asked. "No, I... I don't" he denied.

"Jhooth.... poori duniya se jhooth nahi bologe lekin usse bologe jisse nahi bolna chahiye" he sighed. "You know this is a lie that you did not know it. As if all these six years you haven't noticed her. You have noticed her, you have heard her but you just simply decided to ignore her didn't you? You thought that you can simply escape her if you did not hear her. You thought this was an easier way isn't it" his subconscious cleared.

"Yes I did" he said because he could not lie to himself.

"And now you are thinking that you should listen to all those recordings right?" he nodded. "Good then, you know you already have made a very big mess out of this, I don't know if you would be able to clear it but you know you made it yourself".

The car parked in the parking lot with a screech "Will you stop making me feel more guilty?" he yelled looking at the seat next to him, but found no one. He closed his eyes and shook his head thinking about his inner battle.
