He woke up in the morning and for the first time in all these years he had a smile that he welcomed over his face. It was for the first time that he saw someone taking care of him to a level of staying awake for the night beside him. He could easily tell that she did this because all the water and the wet cloth were evidences to that. After his mom did that when he was probably too small; it was her. Omkara never saw anything like 'care' after what all his father did to him. He never knew anything that was even related to care that was especially reserved for him. He had shared it with his siblings every time and it wasn't that he regretted but sometimes it is only that a person wants. Love that is for him and him only. No one else.

And here he was experiencing pure love that was truly for him. It was not that he saw it the other night and assumed it; it was that he was just void of any such thing to even notice it and when yesterday she helped him inside and took his care; he actually knew what he wanted. He wanted this care; this love that was reserved for him. Hell he had since forever strived for it. Call him 'love' thirsty; not that it matters but yes he wanted that love. He needed that kind of unselfish and pure love that this woman right in front of him had in her heart; abundantly; and he would feel lucky even if he had a bit of what she had to give

'but your stupid stubborn and insane self probably had almost destroyed it idiot' shouted his subconscious and he took a shaky sigh.

All that Gauri had in her mind that why the man who she had seen just protecting the shield that he had around his heart was suddenly crying his heart out yesterday? It was not that simple to understand and she knew it. She knew that there were many things that she had to know and she was clearly not aware of. She knew that he was anyway not going to tell her because in no way was she going to ask itself. It was simple that she had to find everything out by her own self and that she had to find out a way to do that; but how?

"Maa; maa" she heard Anaya's chirpy voice. "Yes princess?" she asked. "I want to eat dadi ke haath ke paranthe for dinner please" she said blinking her eyes. "Bachcha it is night; let's not disturb dadi okay; I will make paranthas" Gauri replied and starts taking the things out. "Nahi... maa please maa please" she says stressing over 'e's to which Gauri sighs "okay fine; go get your slippers; we will go" and Anaya rushed to her room screaming 'yeah'.

"Dadi dadi; paranthe banaoge mere liye please?" Anaya said rushing to her grandmother. "Arrey you don't have to ask for it beta; go join Rudra chachu; your parathas are ready" Jhanvi replied. "Where is he?" Anaya asked. "Well in his room; go rush; he might finish it" Jhanvi answered. "Rudy chachu, mere paranthe mat khaiyega. I am coming" Anaya screamed while running to Rudra's room.

Gauri on the other hand thought that maybe Jhanvi would have an answer to the question. "What happened Gauri?" Jhanvi asked waking her up from her thoughts. "Ummm nothing" she smiled. "Okay" Jhanvi smiled back.

"Can I ask you something?" she asked to the person who sat infront of her. "Sure. Go ahead" she said smiling. "It's about him" she sentenced. "That 'him' is your wedded husband. Go ahead don't worry about anything, just ask"

"He is different. I thought he was just hurt, but no..." she was cut "he is beyond hurt Gauri beta. Hurt is just pain, but Omkara had been hurt to a level that now every pain has been numbed. He feels nothing when it comes to emotions. As if his mind has stopped taking emotional bondage because it has believed that if it did it would end up losing it and might be getting it all difficult again"

"But why? As far as I know and understand is that a person changes only when something happens, something that shakes him to a level that a destruction is made, but what I don't know is what happened with him that he changed into a man who cried yesterday in the rain in front of everyone who passed by" Gauri said with a shocked expression.
