Anyway chapter is up. Enjoy! ]
He thought and thought and thought about the doctors words and everytime he thought about that, he came on a conclusion that he needed to be with her. Gauri had her hopes in him and very high at that. He was not able to bring himself at breaking her hopes yet again when now she is very weak to take any mental tension. Him leaving would be the biggest one for her. Omkara had an idea of his influence on Gauri, the time she had decided to stay with him even if he behaved like a total jerk to her.
All said and done and now it was his time to fight for her and to make her well enough to hold onto herself when he leaves her. He knew he had to because that is the best for them and maybe even if after soo much, she would still suffer because if him, he would rather die than make her do that.
Omkara Singh Oberoi is not letting his wife get affected with anything now. And if it does, he is going to make her strong enough to handle everything, which he knew she already was.
Leave Annika, leave Tej, hell he would even leave himself if that's what it took for him to help her all the while. He was not going to leave her alone, specially not when he knew she needed him the most. He knew that somewhere or the other he had to support Gauri and also fight for her as she did for him she had not given up for almost 5 years and the same has to go with him even if it was any long period of time. He wished to get the old chirpy and full of life Gauri back in action. He wanted her to laugh like she did when he first met her. He wanted her to experience everything that she has not but she deserved and even if it meant that he had to leave her or even give up on his life for her he will do it happily.
He opened up the gates of her room and entered it, sitting on the bench near it. "You made it. I am proud of you" he kissed her hand.
She opened her eyes, squirming softly. "Omkaraji" her soft voice came in his ears. "Gauri... You... Are..." he help her one hand.
"Wa..."
"Wait hold on" he then poured some water in a glass and helped her drink it and then called the doctor
"How are you feeling Mrs Oberoi?" The doctor asked. "Good. Just a little headache" she replied. "Very well. Do you know who they all are?" The doctor asked.
"Ye...yes" she nodded. "You remember him?" doctor pointed at Omkara. "Omkaraji" she called out. "Good. Mrs Oberoi the operation was successful. Just a few more days and you will be discharged. Till then we will shift you in a different ward" the doctor smiled.
Outside the cabin, the doctor took a deep breath and turned to Omkara "well Mr Oberoi, it seems like your wife has partial amnesia. Well at least according to the reports". "But she just recognised me" he stated. "She recognises everyone. The thing is that she won't remember the habits, the likes and dislikes of people around her. She would know who she is with, but what are those people, she might not know" Omkara nodded understandingly.
"Partial amnesia? Ab yeh kya hai?" Rudra asked perplexed and Omkara explained it to him. "So she won't remember that we both used to hide Bhavya's dumbells?" Rudra asked. "No.. wait what?" Omkara snapped his head to him. Rudra shrugs. "Anyway, all I know is that we have to take a lots of care. I mean probably she would not know many things" Omkara said. "Hmmm... I guess all the best brother. It's your time to take her care now" Shivaay patted Omkara's back. "Lekin Annika bhabhi?" Om asked. "Leave her to me" Shivaay smirked. "Okay then I would leave her to you and I think I should now concentrate on my woman" he winked smiling. "Your woman huh? Nice progress I see" Shivaay smiled. "Go on, she must be waiting" Omkara said his bye and ran to Gauri's cabin.
