[[A/N] this story was really close to my heart and the way you guys never gave up on the story and me really encouraged me to complete it even though I lost the zeal. So thank you all and I hope you guys like it ]

So much to learn, so much to know and so much to fulfil; Omkara Singh Oberoi’s life had taken a 180° turn in just a few months. From having to leave everything and start anew to taking everything back and going on with the same people, life has made him trust and respect the ones he had. It had made Omkara realise of how wrong he was, of how stupid he was turning and how he had to let go the past and welcome the present with open arms and have a believe that he or rather they will make things alright.

He woke up early today but this time not because he wasn’t able to sleep but because he wanted to join his wife in her morning pooja. True that Omkara still had not been able to apprehend the fact that there was a living God, but he had accepted that there was someone who had been keeping an eye on him, and that someone had made his life beautiful and it is because of that someone itself that he was in the way to repent and make up for every mistake he did and that he had a chance to.

Though he did not inform Gauri about this but he knew she would be happy and that was the major reason why he decided to carry on with this. The fact that he now actually has acknowledged that she was his pillar of strength since the time she entered the house made him smile and often he would get sour thinking about the way he treated her; but as people say the past is in the past.

He walked to the pooja area after his morning chores, fresh and ready to join his wife and pray for that wonderful smile to which he would give his life. Maybe he won’t be doing the pooja, and maybe his mind might just not agree with the  fact that he was bowing his head infront of the God he ones thought was cruel but for Gauri it was worth it.

For Gauri, everything was worth it.

Well, I found a girl, beautiful and sweet
I never knew you were the someone waiting for me

Gauri woke up the earliest in the house because she loved to decorate her shankerji with her own hands. She changed the vastra of all the idols and made the flower garlands by her own hands. Today she was extremely happy and the reason was non other than her husband. She has noticed the changes in him after all the havoc life created. She has noticed how soft and caring he had become towards her, towards them. She often smiled at how not only did he gave her the respect she deserved but also values her opinion and that was special, because never in these six years had she thought that a day will come when her husband would actually be her husband to her.

She had never thought that they would be sharing views, opinions, life experiences and what not with each other and have each other in the times they needed. In the past month, she had witnessed how Omkara Singh Oberoi had evolved into her Omkaraji and it was sure very beautiful. She had waited for this day in all those years after her marriage. It had almost cost her, her life to see this day. She was ready to leave her family and even her child for the mere thought of their happiness was no where related to her. But now after she knows how much he had changed it was worth it.

For her Omkaraji, everything was worth it.

I found a love, to carry more than just my secrets
To carry love, to carry children of our own

Areey aap kya kar rahe hain itni subah subah?” she asked Omkara when she saw her walking towards her. “Aapke saath pooja karne aaya hoon” he said with a sweet smile on which she smiled back. “Toh Shankerji nein aapko bhi apna bhakt bana liya ?” she replied. “Nahi, par aapke saath pooja karne se shayad aapke Shankerji bana lein mujhe apna bhakt” he said with made Gauri smile more.

“You are really here to pray with me ?” she asked again, she had to be sure because it was so unlike Omkara to join her in prayers. “Gauri, he has given me you, you yourself told me how he supported you and how he was, is and will always be with you so how can I not know someone you love so dearly? And maybe your Shankerji would help me believe in him too like he made me believe in you”

“It is just enough for me that you decided to join in pooja for me and thank you for understanding me” she said. “Well, if we start thank yous now it will take me a whole day or maybe even more to thank you for all you have done for me and I don’t think your Shankerji will be pleased with that, so where were we?” he asked taking them back from the trance.

“aah very well. I was just fixing these vastras on them” she replied. “Why do you have to change the clothes?” he asked. Gauri slapped him on his forearm “vastras Omkaraji. And we change it because it is necessary to do so everyday” Omkara nodded in understanding. “Well okay then let me help you” he joined her.

It was after the arti when Omkara offered to drop Gauri to her office on his way to his gallery. Well talking about that, he smiled on how an admirer of his messaged him and told him that he liked the way his paintings had the light now. Well, his life had the light now, his paintings just refected it.

Darling, just hold my hand
Be my girl, I'll be your man
I see my future in your eyes

“No, don’t email me the file or anything, I will just look at it tomorrow” Gauri said those words to her assistant while getting into the car. She had made it her thing to not to take work to home until absolutely necessary. Truth to be told she did not want anything to disturb her when she was in the warm embrace of the place she had started seeing her home in. Whole day she’d just miss her husband and her little princess in the office and when she’d reach home, she just wanted all the time to be with them and nothing else.

“You know you can take your work with you right? I mean not that I have a problem” Omkara shrugged. “Even if you did, I would have taken it if it was that necessary. Besides, I don’t want any distractions anymore, I have a family after all” she said. Omkara smiled at that “ it’s so good to hear you say that”. “Yeah, well six years ago, I would not have even thought of that but now that I have you …” she held his arm and leaned on his shoulder “ and Anaya, I don’t need anything else” she sighed in contentment.

“I love you” he said smiling as he snuggled closer to her like everyday in this past year. “I love you too” she answered hiding her face in his shoulders. Life was beautiful and just the way they deserved it .

Baby, I'm dancing in the dark with you between my arms
Barefoot on the grass, we're listenin' to our favorite song
When you said you looked a mess, I whispered underneath my breath
But you heard it, darling, you look perfect tonight
