"Ouch" Omkara hissed as he got off the car making both the driver and Gauri look his way. "Are you alright?" Gauri asked and he nodded on which she sighed and got off the car "here let me help you". "No no I am alright" he brushed it off. "Omkaraji, let me help you or I am calling Rudy Bhaiya" she said. "No, not him. He anyway isn't of any work and if he came here he's only going to laugh. Better take your help than that dumbbell" Gauri giggled after Omkara finished "then let me help you" she went and grabbed his hand and kept on her shoulder and held him by his waist.

Omkara just watched intently as if trying to grasp every moment in his mind like the way her face twitched a little on how heavy his hand was or on how she would look around to see if there wasn't any pebble and struggle to get it off while trying not to hurt him in the way. These may just be a few steps from the car to inside his house but he had seen a little hope for him to bring her old self back.

They were together and it was going to be alright and he would try his level best to ensure that it would.

They entered the house and it was pitch black thinking everyone must have slept, they decided to go see their daughter and as soon as they reached and opened the door lightly; they saw her sleeping. Gauri helped Omkara sit on a chair and leaned on her knees infront of her daughter. She took her hand and kissed it "I have been a bad mother right baby, I should have never left you naa, you must have cried so much, I am sorry for being such a heartless mother baby, mumma is soo bad".

Every single tear that came out of her eyes, made Omkara realise yet again of what monstrous behavior he had done. He had not only broken his wife but had had hurt his daughter and just because he had a bad childhood; parents who had always failed to help him out he had no right to destroy two lives; two most important people in his life have been wailing just because he was not able to manage himself. He had not only failed in his life but he had failed them too and he was so sorry that could not describe in words.

He stood up and went outside, he had no strength to stay there no matter how hard he tried. He had made their lives like hell. He had given them so much mental stress and God knows what not. It was all because of him, hell Gauri was going to kill herself because of him.

"So? You are still going to walk out on us everytime like this?" he heard a voice, her voice. "Gauri I..." she stopped him "you said you were ready to move on right? But how are you going to move on when you can't let go off your past? Or you want us to burn in the same fire you are burning yourself in since it started? You want us to forgive you but you are not ready to forgive yourself ..."

"How am I supposed to forgive myself Gauri?" he interrupted her. "How can I forgive myself when I am the reason behind all that you both have faced? How can I even say that you were important to me when all I have given you is pain? No matter how much I tell myself to move on ... I can't because whatever I have done has effected you both so much that it is always going to come back in some way or the other. Have you seen Anu? She has had seen so much and Gauri she is just five and still she is paying the price of being Omkara Singh Oberoi's daughter. Even if I try, my deeds are always going to come back ... always"

Gauri sighed as she inched close to him "Omkaraji look at me" she said but he didn't comply. He held his face in her hands and made him meet her gaze "she is and always be proud of being your daughter Omkaraji. She is going to be proud of being the daughter of the man for who his family is everything, a man who stands up for injustice and has even saved the life of her mother" she said.

You said you don't have to speak
I can hear you
I can't feel all the things you've ever felt before
I said it's been a long time
Since someone looked at me that way
It's like you knew me
And all the things I couldn't say

"and almost killed her mother too. How am I going to show my face to her when she gets to know all about this? That ... that her father was so cruel, so insensitive that he never saw the emptiness in her mother's eyes? How will I face her then when she gets to know that you have gone through so much because of me?" he said.

"Then why not erase all these bad memories? We have all the time with us when we can show her how happy we are and how much we do love her? We can erase any memory that had hurt her in any way because we still have time.

Anaya is still a baby Omkaraji, we still have time and if we try we can heal every wound every scar and replace it with beautiful moments of us three together right? We can give her the childhood she deserves so that even if some uneventful day she gets to know about all the scars she won't feel any pain but those scars immediately would be replaced by beautiful memories that we would have given her because we have all the time with us" she answered.

"How are you like this? How can you still think of the brighter side?" Omkara asked and Gauri smiled.

"Come with me" she said softly, holding his hand. "Where?" he asked. "Just come" she said and dragged him to the garden where the beautiful night sky was visible and sat down with him under a tree.

"You see the moon Omkaraji?" she asked and he nodded in agreement. "You know moon has scars?" . "Yes" . "And you know those scars of it enhance its beauty?" . "They do?" he said surprised because he had always known that scars were a symbol of pain.

"Yes, they should how strong it is, they show what all it has endured and now if you ask anyone about it, they will only say of how beautiful the moon is and not how many scars it has. Time heals everything Omkaraji, we just have to wait and see"

"But what if I fail?" he asked. "We will fail in somedays and those days will not be good but we have to cross them for her. We are humans Omkaraji, we cannot be perfect" she answered.

"You know I was terrified but when you said 'we' the feeling converted to relaxation. Promise me Gauri, we will do it, together with each other, we will overcome everything but it will never be I or you alone" he said his mind. "Promise" she smiled again as they both gazed to the beautiful moon together after a long and emotionally draining day.

"They returned? When?" Shivaay asked Khanna. "Sir, as far as I know yesterday night at approximately 11 o clock" answered Khanna. "And we have absolutely no idea about that? Shivaay I have told you many times ki itni jaldi sona bhi achcha nahi hota lekin nahin" Annika whined to which Shivaay rolled his eyes.

"Areey lekin where are they?" Rudra asked. "Last they went to Anaya baby's room and then to the garden" Khanna said. "Garden? Why garden?" Annika asked. "We will ask them that, pehle chalo puche unse" Shivaay said as all of them marched to the garden.

They reached the garden but had to search for no time when they saw then sleeping in the garden with their backs against the tree. Omkara's hands were wrapped around his wife while Gauri had a soft smile as her head rested on his chest.

All four of them smiled "guys but we have to wake them up" Rudra whispered. "They are no kids. Let them be, it's not that cold anyway besides they don't really have had time for each other in all these years" Bhavya said and surprisingly Shivaay agreed and they all decided to leave them and head back.

Just when they were about to go "wait a minute" Annika said. She took off the shawl she had wrapped around her and lightly covered them with it and took balaiyaaan "okay let's go" he said as they headed back.
