"thank you for bringing him here on time Mr Oberoi, if not or you, that man would have died; his family is very thankful, they would be here anytime" said the doctor. "Oh no please, tell them to just take care of him" he answered.
He was seated among all the world running around him; as if his had stopped; as if his was lost once again; and one more time he was not able to save it and once again he couldn't stop it; stop himself from falling like he had never ever before and he knew that atleast this feeling was his and even if he would not be able to stop himself from crumbling down once again but he won't go down the drain this time; that he would be waiting for ever for her to come as he had now nothing left but to wait as the fault was his and all this time that he had missed; he couldn't possibly return to himself and as much as he did regretted it, he couldn't because that was all this time he had with her, with his one true love.
I lie awake thinkin' of the days gone by
Wishing that you're still here with me, baby
I was wrong and now you're gone
Please hear this heart of mine
Hear me callingShe had all the bad thoughts this time, as if her mind was not ready to think good and she knew that all she could do was pray and hope that he was alright "hey shankerji, unki raksha kariyega" was all that she was chanting as she tried to speed up her already tired legs. She couldn't think of how would she possibly survive with the thought that he wasn't there; in the world that she lived, that she had to survive with the thought that he was not there "nahi, bilkul nahi". Right at this point when all her thoughts were only directed to him being safe; she couldn't help but think if she wasn't in all this; what if he was not here at all? what if all she had was her mother and all the cruelty she had faced all this while, all this time?
See these tears that keep fallin' from my eyes
Wishing that I never let you go, my baby
Take this heart, fill me with your love
Please hear these words of mine
Hear me calling"Is there any Omkara Singh Oberoi admitted here?" she asked with her breath panting. "Excuse me?" said the nurse perplexed. "Any.. Omkara Singh Oberoi? Have you got any admissions right now? look please tell me, please look I am his wife I have to see him, where is he?" she kept speaking not letting the nurse speak."Ma'am please listen .." she cut her "no please tell me where is my husband? I heard about the accident near the airport and I was told that a ... a man with long height and long hair had been brought to the hospital, so please tell me where-"
"Gauri" she heard a familiar voice; half confused, half surprised.
"Omkaraji" she said with her groggy voice and ran as fast as he feet could take her and just before she was about to slip, he caught her "are you alright?" he asked. She nodded with tears "I should be asking that from you, are you alright? Aapko kahin chot toh nahi lagi?". "Nahi-" but before he could finish, she started checking his arms and face "shuriya shankerji .." she held his face in between her palms "aapko kuch ho jaata toh hum-"
"itna khush hone ki zaroorat nahi hai, yeh mere liye sirf ek sauda hai, yeh shaadi mere liye koi mayne nahi rakhti"
"toh hum kya Gauri, toh hum kya?" he asked with hopes in his eyes, but that instant he saw all that happiness, all that excitement draining off her eyes "Toh hum bade bahiya aur maaji ko kya jawab dete, aap hume rokne aaye the, aapko kuch ho jaata toh galati humari hoti" she breathed out as she pushed his chest getting out of his embrace. "Hum chalte hain, humari flight ka time ho gaya hoga" and she rushed out.
