[[A/N] so this is the last update before I write the epilogue. Though I wanted to write more but I can't because well, I have lost all my will to write anymore. I hope you all understand.
I have two more stories left and I possibly am going to complete them too in somedays but that's it.
Anyway enjoy and don't forget to vote and give your opinion. ]
Few weeks had passed since he had been badly beaten by his wife and the day they had confessed and things had been awkward too because for the first time like... forever he had been able to talk to her and not have hateful conversations or have her ignoring him because for the first time in the same forever she was talking to him and not that damn tape recorder, talking about which his thoughts went on if he should talk about everything that had happened in her past now or should leave it in the past to where it belonged but naah right now it was Anaya's playtime and her daughter had his full attention so his wife could get some free time to herself ..
'His wife .. sunne mein kitna achcha lagta hai nahi?' he smiled
Gauri had been waiting in the shop for Bhavya to finish her shopping for her to be born and while she waited for her she saw a dress shirt on the mannequin standing just beside the shop and it was nice so she thought she would go and check out because Bhavya and Rudra were taking forever and since both of them were together, because of which had no idea why was she even there, she went.
She checked out things for her and Anaya because that was what she always did and she liked some clothes which she kept with her and ventured to the men's section for the first time and her eyes immediately landed on a maroon kurta 'will it look good on him?' she thought but was not sure because she hadn't purchased anything at all for him before but this time she took the kurta and gave it to the billing. She was taking something for her husband
'Her husband ... sunne mein kitna achcha lagta hai nahi?' she blushed.
"Anu beta, dadaa is just going to get some water okay?" he said and she nodded smiling. Omkara placed some pillows near the bed just to be sure she doesn't gets hurt and quickly ran to the kitchen to get some water after taking a glance at his daughter playing happily with her cute little dolls and serving them tea.
Tej was walking around the house searching for some servant when he went across his granddaughter's room. He stood there and smiled remembering that little girl when the first time he had held her in his hands; she was so tiny with eyes just like Omkara's and was looking so cute as she threw her hands in air as if trying to get hold of his face. But time changed everything. His disappointment in Omkara had taken him away from every family member of his and it was not like he did not love anyone, but just like he did not cared anymore. He slightly opened the gates and saw her playing with her dolls and he smiled; she looked so in her own world, unaware of all the surroundings.
Instinctively, he opened the gates and ventured inside "Anaya bitiya kya kar rahi hai?" he asked as lovingly as he could, making sure he doesn't scare her. But her look on her face was that of a terrified little lamp, as if as soon as she saw him she was petrified that he would harm her. "Anaya beta what happened? Remember daadu?" he said. It was the most awkward conversation he has had in almost his whole life. He had no idea what made her so scared of him that even with a glance at him it felt like she thought that he would kill her.
"maa..maa...mummaaaaa...mummmmaaaaa" Anaya started crying and Tej immediately panicked. "What happened?" Gauri rushed inside the room and as soon as Anaya saw Gauri she ran to her and hid behind her as if her mother was her shield from the person standing in front. "Papaji aap?" Gauri asked. "Haan" Tej said in a very business-like voice. "Main toh bas apni poti ke saath khelne aaya tha" he said sweetly as he turned to Anaya who shifted away "aap jaao, I don't want to play with you, you are bad" she said. "Anaya.!" Gauri warned her daughter. "No mumma he is bad, he said bad things to you and dadaa, he is a bad man" Anaya reasoned.
