"Omkaraji.... Omkaraji..." she kept speaking in between the curtains that she was in. "Find me" he said repeating the same tone as hers. "Omkaraji where are you?" she asked pushing the curtains aside. "I am just here beside you, find me" yelled the voice in a soft tone. "I am not able to," she said pouting and moving forward. "It is not that easy to have me beside you Gauri, come on find me and take me back," he said again. "I am here to do the same. But I can't find you" she answered back. "Come on be a sport" the voice said. She smiled and pushed the curtains aside and walked into the white-curtained area.

Suddenly she felt two arms wrapped across her waist which started pulling her "save me... save me..." she started shouting, but all in vain; no one heard. "Omkaraji save me please" she shouted thinking he would come, but he did not. She kept screaming, but still, she felt herself amidst the darkness and only darkness.

She jerked up from the couch she slept on the last night. Another night, another dream and then another morning. This had become her daily habit. She often got those dreams but thankfully she did not scream like others, because if she did, someone or the other must have told her. She was drenched in sweat and that was what she noticed. Apart from all the other things, this dream remained with her as a partner and whenever she felt lonely, the dream appeared in her sleep, to remind her that she was.

Omkara, on the other hand, was all messed up. Even though he knew everything about this relationship between Gauri and him, he was never able to get away with the thought of days that would be after she left. Looking back on his life over these six years, all he saw was Gauri and Anaya. Not even once did he imagine Riddhima, even when he wanted to start a family with her and Anaya by his side and not Gauri. Gauri's words always affected him, no matter what, he always listened to them, consciously or unconsciously. That woman by her words seemed so untangled in life unlike he was, fully caught in between these threads called as relationships.

He was a calibrate and he knew why. The idea of cheating on his wife never seemed good for him. He had never touched Riddhima in these six years like a man does to his woman because even the thought of it disgusted him. He did not want his child to have an impression of is as he had of his father. The mere thought of Anaya's face in front of him at that time scared him. He did not sleep in his room either, because he and given it to Gauri and Anaya. He did not want Anaya to sleep alone and she does not sleep without Gauri inside the room. The moment she wakes up, she needs Gauri by her side or else she will start crying.

The only thing was that he did not love Gauri. Though he knew at some point that she was not bad and not at all a liar, but then what to do of those things that he had seen and witnessed by himself? What to do with his memories that were there back in Bareilly?

It was five. And how did he know it? Well because it was the ringing of the bells that indicated that Gauri was in the temple doing the morning aarti. And seconds later he heard the melodious tune of the 'shankh' which she played effortlessly, giving a relaxing start to a morning.

She was in the temple offering her prayers to the almighty when she decided to just for this point turn to the lord and keep her eyes closed. Her closed eyes had him; his face and his smile. Seeing him smiling she too smiled to herself "Shankerji, bas iss muskaan ko eise hi rakhiyega. Hum wada karte hain, humari muskaan bhi bani rahegi ( Shankerji, just keep this smile intact like this forever. I promise, my smile will also be like this forever)" she smiled to herself praying this.
