He rushed his car to the fastest speed that he had ever discovered since he had learned. Reason, the desperation and the anxiety to know what the actual truth was. Agreed that there was always something in him that made him think that the truth was far away from what he had actually thought of it as but certainly, he did not agree to that thought. Why would he? The certain part that was with Gauri was the same part that made him trust his father once, and he got betrayed ruthlessly.

He had lost what people call as a feeling of understanding capability that would help him to recognize and know a person. He did what his mind told him was right, but right now trusting his mind was not what he felt was the right option, he wanted to trust that part in him once again, maybe he would get some peace.

The night was dark and so were the streets, no one was visible around to make the city look alive. Certainly, at three in the morning, it was he who had to search for some answers while the rest were asleep. Maybe they knew the truth about their past that held and he was not ready to see his yet. But he wanted to, at least now when he has a life to save, he had to because there was no other option.

The fact that she might not remember anything at times made him even more concerned to know about her. What if there was something that he needed to know about but yet wasn't aware of? Something like any habit, any memory or anything very important, because he knew that even if he was able to read her face, he was still unaware of anything about her.

After an hour of driving, he finally reached the shop. He stopped his car on the parking lane and taking the tape recorder with him, he started towards the shop. "Hello sir, how may I help you?" the man in the reception greeted him. "Hello, actually I needed this tape recorder to be fixed" he handed the recorder to the man and the man started examining it. "I needed it to be fixed now" he requested.

"Umm in that case we are sorry sir, because this one will have to wait" the receptionist told him. "Why? your shop is opened right?" he asked. "Yes sir, but the part that is damaged here can be only fixed by one person who is not here. We can get it fixed only when he arrives" he receptionist informs him. "And when will he arrive?" he asked. "Tomorrow after ten".

Tomorrow, that means another day and does he have another day to spend? No, was a straight and a simple shout from his heart. Hell, she just has seven days and he has to know everything before he starts to mend the broken. Except for Omkara who would know it better than to start afresh you have to know and acknowledge your past as it was and most importantly forget it. He had to know her past to make her start afresh.

"I cannot wait that long, is there any other shop in the city?" he asked. "There are many but no one would be opened this early, we only have it opened for some reasons" he nodded. "Something that can be done? Anything?" he asked desperately.

"Nothing, except if you rush to that old man's home to Dadar and get it fixed there, waise bhi buzurg hain he doesn't generally sleep much" a worker joked. "Where does he live?" he asked the worker. "What?" the worker said, shocked. "I asked where he lives?" he repeated. "I was just joking sir. I..." he cuts him "Where does he live?" he shouted. "Bandra Chawl, house No 453," the worker said afraid. "Thank you" he said and rushed off not before hearing a faint "paagal hai kya?" from one of them.

"Bandra, the next destination" he said to himself taking a deep huff and starting his car. All of this because he wanted to, he had to know the truth. Because something in him was telling him that there was something very important hidden in that tape that he had to find.
