I had sat out on the balcony, looking out through the bars and out into the evening when footsteps approached behind me. Thinking it was another kid, I kept quiet. They'd go away if I waited long enough. I didn't feel like talking.

"Sis?" The person called softly.

I stood up and burst into tears, walking into Kai's arms. He hugged me gently. "Whats wrong? I thought I'd come give you a visit."

I sobbed into his arms.

"Bella? Why are you crying?" He asked.

I couldn't stop.

"What's wrong? Do you not want to see me?" My brother begged.

I pulled back from the hug. "I'm the only one left. Everyone else has gone."

"Well." He said. "Best 'til last."

"What?" I wiped my tears.

He hesitated. "Nice guys finish... Last?"

I fought back a teary smile. "Are you trying to be encouraging?"

"Yeah." He laughed. "Sorry. I'm not very good at that sort of thing."

"No shit." I wiped my eyes again and sat on the bench. "Did you see Felix as you came in?"

Kai nodded. "Yeah. We were talking for ages."

"Oh yeah? What about?"

"Just the usual stuff..." He scratched the back of his head. "Apparently Ashley keeps asking about me."

"Well. That makes sense. She is your ex girlfriend of however many years. She's worried about you." I frowned.

"Apparently she's been going through a tough time."

"Yeah? Well. Your fault." I raised an eyebrow.

"I think I love her, Bella." He bit his lip and sat next to me. "I haven't seen her properly in ages."

"Look. I'm not here to be your fucking counsellor. You love her, still. She loves you. Get back together and stop being a dickhead. Problem solved." I said.

He sighed. "You tell it how it is, huh?"

"I'm your sister. What else would I do?" I smiled gently. "I'm not going to lie."

He patted me on the back. "I can count on you for that... Hey, by the way... Sorry if you feel like I haven't visited you enough."

"Don't be stupid. It's fine. You're going through some stuff."

"Yeah but you were always there when I needed you." He looked at his feet.

"Fuck off, Kai, you've been here for me. Cheer up." I rolled my eyes. "Stop being such a fucking misery."

"You're telling me not to be a misery? You're in a fucking mental home." He joked.

I pretended to punch him in the stomach. "Dickhead."

There was a moment of silence until Kai spoke up. "Oh. I made a promise to someone that I'd let them talk to you. They messaged me on Facebook and asked to talk to you on the phone when I next visited you."

"Who?"

"I'm just calling them now." He said.

"Who is it?" I demanded.

I could hear the phone dialling and then a muffled 'hello?'. Kai smiled. "Hey, dude! She's here. Should I pass you over? Yep. Yep. Cool."

He handed me the phone and I held it to my ear, nervously. "Hello?"

"Hi." Robbie said from the phone. "How are you doing, Bella-Bean?"

I melted at his voice. "Robbie..."

"Hello." His voice giggled electronically. "You okay?"

"I'm fine." My hands were shaking. "I'm fine, I'm fine! How are you?"

"I'm fine." He said. "I miss you."

"I miss you too." I said desperately. "I'm sorry I didn't say goodbye, I couldn't force myself to do it, I-"

"It's okay. I understand." Robbie laughed. "Don't be so apologetic. You're funny."

I laughed weakly. "God, I love you."

Kai smirked next to me and I gave him an evil look.

"I love you too." Robbie replied. "I miss the way you smell."

"That's creepy." I smiled.

"Is it?" He asked.

"Yes. Quite."

He giggled again. "I'm so excited to see you again. I can't wait until you get out. I've got loads of plans. Oh! Antonia came to see me yesterday. She's really missing you, and she's bought you a present. I'm not allowed to tell you what it is."

"Fuck." I groaned. "I just want to get out of here."

I heard a vibration from Robbie's line. "My phone's about to run out of charge. I have to go."

"Oh. Okay." I frowned. "I'll see you later."

"Yeah." He said. "Love you."

"Love you too." I replied and waited for the line to go dead. It did, and as it did I looked up. "Thank you for that, Big Bro."

"No problem." He smirked. "Robbie was desperate to hear your voice... Cute, really."

I blushed. "He's so sweet."

Felix came up behind us and patted us both on the head. "Hi, guys."

"Hello." I said.

"Hi, mate." Kai greeted him.

Felix sat down next to us with a smug look on his face. "Adrianna's been to the doctor today. The baby's due next week."

"No way!" Kai grinned. "That's awesome!"

My face dropped.

"What's wrong, Bella?" Felix asked.

"I won't be out in time..." I mumbled.

"Well... I've got to speak to you about that in the office. Later. When Kai goes home." Felix said.

I frowned. "I'm staying even longer, aren't I?"

Felix winked and stood up. "I'll leave you two for sibling time."
