Author's POV
The week passed quickly and everyone was enjoying every part of it.
Today was the day the Kira couple (the parents) were gonna come back.
"Ok guys, we're leaving. We'll see you after the summer break.." Laura said heading to the door with Nozumu.
"See you soon Laura." Yume said.
They waved goodbye to each other as Nozumu closed the door behind him and Laura.
"We'll be leaving too." Asahi said.
"Oh wait. Kaito and Koharu asked if we can drop them off at their houses." Mahiru said.
"Ugh.. HURRY UP KAITO!" Asahi shouted as his voice rang through the hallway.
"Coming." Kaito said coming down the stairs while Koharu was standing next to Mahiru.
After they left with a couple of minutes a car parked in front of the house.
"That must be mom and dad." Kanata said.
"Ya, I can't believe I'm gonna have to deal with that old man the entire summer." Yume said.
"Show some respect young lady." A voice said.
"Oh hey mom." Yume said.
"What about me?" The father asked.
"Oh hey, I didn't see you." Yume said.
Before the father could say anything else the mother put her hand on her husband's mouth.
"So kids how have you been?" The mother asked.
"Very well mom." Kanata answered.
"Hey Kanata come and help me." Ako said from upstairs.
"Okay." Kanata said going up the stairs.
"Didn't you say Kanata's girlfriend came to the sleepover?" The father asked.
Yume nodded her head and said, "Ya that was actually her."
"Really, I can't wait to see her." The father said.
"Well I'll see you soon- oh I didn't know your parents already arrived. Sorry, it's nice to meet you. I'm Saotome Ako." Ako said bowing.
"Nice to meet you too." The parents said.
"Nice girl you picked son." The father said elbowing his son.
"Ya, ya. come on Ako. I'll walk you to your car. I don't want you around him anymore." Kanata said pointing at his father.
A couple minutes later..
"Hey, Mr. and Mrs. Kira." Subaru said.
"Hello." The parents replied.
"You know, you're handsome, and that's why I still can't get how my daughter managed to get a guys like you.. but now at least I'll know my grandchildren will look beautiful." The father said which made Yume and Subaru blush madly as they kept looking at each other.
"Dad!!" Yume said.
"Although I don't want any anytime soon, you hear me Subaru?" The father asked.
"Y-yes." Subaru answered.
"I-I should probably get going... bye." He continued quickly getting out of the door.
When all the Kira family sat together for dinner..
"Summer... HERE I COME!" Yume shouted pumping her fist in the air.
