Losing Your Memory

Chapter 2

Before Raw, the guys and I went to practice our entrance. Funny thing about our entrance.....I've never really been a good DOWNstairs walker. I don't know how they did it.

The first time I entered with The Shield, I tripped about 8 times. Dean had to catch me to make sure I didn't topple down. Now I kept my trips to a minimum of 5 or 6. That's why we went earlier before every show so the guys can make sure I make it to the ring alive.

"Guys, I'm too clumsy for this." I said after I once again tripped.

Seth laughed, "You'll get better." He said.

It was only me and Seth at the moment. Dean and Roman had to run back to the hotel and check out so Seth was working with me.

I fell again and he caught me. He looked straight into my eyes and we had this awkward silence as I was protectedly in his arms.

"Um...." I finally said.

"Sorry." He said, letting me go. I didn't expect it, so I toppled backwards. "You really are clumsy aren't you?" He laughed.

I weirdly smiled at him. Was that a moment we just had? No! This couldn't happen. I was with Dean. Oh gosh, I had to talk to him.

"Hey, can we talk?" I asked.

NO! NOT RIGHT NOW!

It was too late.

"Sure." He said, sitting in one of the chairs.

I sat next to him, "That.....that that just happened......it doesn't mean anything, right?" I asked.

"What? Me catching you?" He asked.

"No Seth, don't play dumb with me. I mean what happened after." I said.

He shrugged, "Sorry, you're just so beautiful, I couldn't resist staring at that perfect little face." He said.

I smiled, "So that's it?" I asked.

"That's it." He said, "You're with Dean, Charlie. And I'm not gonna deny the fact that I was attracted to you and we'd probably be together right now if it wasn't for Dean." I nodded as he went on, "But I can't stand in the way of you and Dean. You and Dean love each other. Listen Charlie....we had a thing. It's over." He said.

I nodded, "I just wanted to make sure you were okay with all of this." I said.

"It's cool. Don't ever be afraid to talk to me about anything. I'm here for you." He said.

"I guess it's just weird that me and you had a thing and I feel kinda bad doing all these things with Dean right in front of you." I said.

He shrugged, "It's fine. I mean, do you take offense when me and Jamie do something in front of you?" He asked.

Jamie was Seth's new girlfriend. More of his age than I ever was. She wasn't in WWE, but was drop dead gorgeous.

"Well....no. I just wanted to make sure." I said.

"Okay." He said.

"Okay." I said.
