*3 weeks later*

My eyes slowly fluttered open. I looked around at the hotel room.

I went into the main room to see AJ on the couch. Dean and I hadn't talked in 3 weeks. I didn't even care. I needed to forget about him. Seth and I hadn't talked since the kiss. We needed to talk about this.

"Oh hey, you're up." AJ said, interrupting my thoughts. I noticed her hair was tied back into a pony tail and she was dressed to work out. "Wanna hit the gym today?"

"Do we do that regularly?" I asked.

"See the muscles on you, Hun?" AJ asked. "Yes, we do this often. Now go get ready."

I shrugged and retreated to my room to get dressed. I dressed in my workout clothes and got ready.

"Hotel gym?" I asked as AJ and I approached the elevator.

"Yep." She said, "Then we'll head off for lunch at 11. Sound good?"

I nodded. "So....when do we get time off?"

She looked at me doubtfully. "You've got a lot to learn chick." She said.

The elevator opened and we walked to the workout room. She walked in and I instantly saw Dean's body through the crack in the door. I jumped back and leaned against the wall, letting the door close.

A few seconds later, AJ appeared back next to me.

"Hey, the only way you're gonna get over him is to face him eventually." AJ said.

I shook my head and breathed heavily. "I can't, AJ. I can't go in there."

She nodded and grabbed my wrist, "You have to. Come on." She pulled me in.

Dean looked up and froze. I froze, looking back at him. He looked surprised to see me. I thought I did this regularly.

Before I knew it, he was heading over. What? I didn't wanna talk to him.

"Hey." He said as he came up.

AJ looked at us both cautiously.

"Hi." I said softly.

"Feeling better?" He asked.

"From what?" I asked.

"Do you remember anything else?" He asked.

I shook my head, "No."

I saw that AJ was no longer at my side. When I looked around for her, she was lifting weights and subtly encouraging me to talk to Dean. Unfortunately, she wasn't so subtle when Dean followed my gaze to look at her.

He turned back to me and grabbed my hand, "I miss you." He said.

I pulled my hand out of his. "Yeah, well..." I looked down searching for the words to say.

"Look I know I was a jerk to you." He said. "I know I wasn't thinking. I wanna help you get through this, C."

I shook my head, "I don't need your help Dean."

And I didn't. No matter how much has happened, I didn't want his help and I certainly didn't NEED his help.

"Charlie, I..."

"No." I said sternly. "You walked out of my life Dean. I didn't make you. So you can stay out."

I turned and joined AJ in lifting weights. I told her what happened and she freaked.

"Charlie!"

"What?" I asked, "I don't want his help. I don't need his help."

"You need as much help as you can get." She said. "Dean wants to be there for you. Why won't you just let him?"

"If he wanted to be there for me, he wouldn't have broken my heart because he couldn't handle me." I protested.

She sighed and went back to weight lifting.

I didn't know what to do. I just....worked out.

We got back to the hotel room around 10:45 and dressed to go to lunch when there was a knock at the door.

AJ answered it as I went to grab my phone from my room.

"We're just goin grab some lunch." I heard AJ say to whoever was outside.

I heard a familiar voice say, "Mind if I join?"

Oh no!

"Um...." AJ hesitated.

Dean.

I ran out of my room.

"Hey." Dean said.

I couldn't look at him.

"Sure Dean." AJ agreed to him joining us.

I gave her an angry look. Dean smirked, "Awesome."

"I'm staying here." I said firmly.

"No you're not." AJ grabbed my wrist and pulled me towards the door.

"I'M NOT GOING ANYWHERE WITH HIM!" I screamed.

"Oh so we can't be friends?" Dean asked. "Ya know, I still care about you."

"FRIENDS? Why would I be friends with a dickhead like you? And trust me Dean, i may have lost my memory, but I'm not stupid. You don't give a damn about me." I said.

"That's not true, Charlie."

"HEY!" AJ interrupted. Dean and I both jumped and looked at her. "You two are going to sit down at lunch and work this out." She ordered.

I looked at Dean. He stared into my eyes. Why was he doing this? He's the one who walked out of my life.

"Fine." I said, stomping out of the suite like a little girl.

I could hear the footsteps of AJ and Dean behind us.

The car ride was full of silence. Mostly because Dean insisted on driving and I was forced to sit in the front seat.

We got into the restaurant and I slid into a booth. Dean went to slide in next to me, but I stopped him.

"AJ's sitting here." I said firmly.

He just rolled his eyes and slid into the opposite side of the booth.

We ordered our food and sat in silence.

Dean looked at me, "You look beautiful." He said. I rolled my eyes and stared out the window. "Charlie, come on."

"What? You don't wanna be with me Dean. So don't say that I'm beautiful. Just don't say anything." I snapped.

"Charlie, I love you. I did what I had to do." He said.

"What you had to do?" I asked. Brows raised. "Leave me?"

He grabbed my hand, "Hey, I'm still here aren't i?"

I stared into his eyes and immediately got lost in them. I didn't pull away and I didn't fight it.

"How could you?" I asked.

"I was confused. I was hurt. I didn't want you getting hurt anymore because of me, Charlie. Seriously, breaking up with you was the hardest thing I've ever had to do, but it had to be done." He said. "I did it for you. I can't stand hurting you anymore. If you'd understand that, maybe we could fix things at least a little. Maybe we can fix all this hatred between us."

"But I love you." I said.

"Do you?" He asked, "Do you really? Or do you just think you do because that's what everyone else is telling you."

I hesitated, not knowing what to say.

"I can't let you marry me just because you were told you love me, regardless of whether you did or not before." He said.

"But...."

"Charlie," he interrupted me, "I love you. I care about you. That's exactly why I'm gonna help you remember. Remember us."

"And then we can be together." I said.

He nodded. "Forever."
