Dean's POV

My girl. She was gone. She didn't remember anything. Not me. Not Seth. Not her parents. How was I gonna explain all of this. She even missed her 20th fricking birthday.

"Roman, she's awake." I said as I met Roman in the lobby.

"Thank god." Roman said, letting out a sigh of relief. "AJ's on her way."

"Okay, but there's something you should know." Dean said.

"Hey guys!" AJ called from down the hallway. She quickly ran up to us. "She okay?" She asked in desperation.

"Yeah, but..."

"Well, let's go see her." AJ said, running towards her room....interrupting me.

Roman followed closely behind. I shrugged, "Whatever."

They walked into the room and I tried to keep up.

"Um.....guys..."

"C!" AJ exclaimed. She went over and hugged my extremely confused girlfriend, "I thought I was gonna lose you, C. I'm so glad you're okay."

"Um...." She uttered out with her sweet little voice.

"Guys..." I said louder.

"We missed you, baby doll." Roman said.

"GUYS!"

They still ignored me.

"I've got to tell you so much stuff." AJ said.

"Charlie, this is AJ and Roman. They're your friends." I said.

AJ and Roman looked at me confusingly.

"And who's Charlie?" She asked.

"You're Charlie." I answered.

AJ and Roman still didn't say a word. I went to Charlie's side and held her little hand.

"She doesn't remember anything, guys. She lost her memory." Dean said.

"She.....she what?" AJ asked.

"Baby doll?" Roman asked.

"Um.....Roman right?" Charlie asked.

"Rome." He said, referring to Charlie's nickname of him. "That's what you called me. Rome."

"C, you're......you don't remember me?" AJ asked.

"AJ calls you C." I cleared up for her.

She nodded and crinkled her little nose. "I'm sorry." She said to AJ. "Do I know you?"

"Hell yeah, you know me." AJ said. "Charlie, we're best friends."

"She doesn't remember me either." I said, trying to make AJ feel better.

"Dean right?" Charlie asked, "My fiancée?"

"Yeah." Dean said, "And....I hope this doesn't change the fact that I'm your fiancée."

She shrugged, "If I really love you as much as you say I do, I hope it doesn't either."

I smiled. Maybe we could make this work. I couldn't give up on her. I'd never give up on her. I love her.
