I sat up and approached Jungkook with pleading eyes. Immediately he melted under my gaze and began to soften up his own expression with pity.
"Maybe you can convince Nayeon to back out of reporting us?" I said sweetly.
Jungkook let out a long sigh. "Ugh, fine. Save me the puppy dog eyes, you're too cute."
I cheered out and hugged him. "Yay! Thank you so so much!" Jungkook wrapped his arms around me, startled by the sudden action but relaxing into it a bit. Eventually I pulled back and skipped over to Jimin to find him with his arms crossed. I wrapped my arms around his waist and nuzzled into his side. "This just HAS to work, love."
Jimin only nodded, not uttering a word. Jungkook's face was red and he turned away from Jimin's strong gaze.
"I'll head over to her office right now...See you later guys!" He abruptly rushed out of the room.
That was weird. Wonder if he just got overwhelmed a bit with the task?
Jimin looked down at me, securing one of his arms around my waist. "You were being awfully close with him, Ara." That almost sounded like a threat.
"I was just being friendly." I innocently replied.
"Didn't you see how red Jungkook's face got just from one hug? He was embarrassed. For all I know, he could like you." I scoffed.
"That's ridiculous. I barely know him. I don't know him at all, really."
"Or so you think." He muttered under his breath, but I heard that loud and clear.
I froze in my place, and slowly pulled myself away from Jimin.
"Or so I think? Park Jimin if you do not tell me what's going on right now, you're getting a beating." I threatened him. I looked straight into his eyes, searching for an answer.
Jimin returned the stare, finally letting out a deep sigh, realizing he can't hide whatever he's attempting to.
"On occasion, we used to hang out with Jungkook together when we were kids, and he actually used to have this big crush on you."
What? I don't remember him at all...
I must have looked so confused, because Jimin began to elaborate a bit further, possibly to try and refresh my memory.
"He lived about 2 blocks down our houses. We were almost always together, and he even used to go to school with you. You really don't remember him?"
I shook my head.
"What happened to him after my incident? Did he move too?" I said mockingly.
Jimin huffed out in annoyance and continued speaking.
"No. He still remained at the same house, same place for the next few years even without me, Nayeon, and you. There was nothing he could do, but one thing he never told me was how he felt about you losing your memories, so don't ask. I think that's what you need to do."
That was all I needed to hear. I spun on my heel and bolted out the door without thinking, trying to catch up with Jungkook and get him alone.
I hope I won't regret this.
(A/N: :))) oof watch she gonna end up regretting her choice ;D 💜)
