I found my work room very easily and went inside, closing the door behind me. I shut my eyes tightly as I leaned against the door, getting lost in my thoughts.
I was...confused.
Why would Jimin...flirt with me? This is a work environment, but I didn't feel completely disgusted. I mean, he's extremely good looking and a dominant, orderly person from the first impression he has given me. Who wouldn't swoon over him? However it's still very unprofessional to flirt with one of your coworkers in the first place...
There isn't much that I can do though, so I'll have to brush it off. He was probably just playing with me, anyway.
I opened my eyes to find a barely furnished room. The walls were painted a light grey and the floors a maroon carpet. To the left of me was a black leather couch which seemed to be in new condition, and to the right was a plain white desk with a MacBook situated on it and a white wheeled chair as well. The room wasn't seriously decorated, it was simplistic and almost empty. I set my purse on the couch and walked over the desk and sat down. The laptop was closed and I saw a sticky note stuck to the front of it. I picked it up and read it.

"This is yours, but for work use only. Nayeon's information and manuscript will come up shortly in an email.
~ Jimin"

I set the sticky note aside, and opened up the laptop. I checked my email to find it empty.

"I guess it hasn't been half  an hour yet. What could I do to keep myself busy?"  I wondered to myself. Just then, I heard a knock come at my door.

"Come in!"

Jimin entered. "There's been a change of plans. Nayeon said something came up and won't be able to finish the chapter today, and I have a meeting to attend, so you're coming with me since there aren't any other side assignments for you at the moment. Grab your things, it'll be long." Jimin said, his features looking a bit stressed. There were small bags under his eyes, and his hair was slightly disheveled, possibly from running his hands through it.

I nodded obediently, grabbed my belongings and followed him outside.

Jimin and I walked side by side each other. There was an uncomfortable silence hanging in the air, and I didn't plan on saying anything. We stood this way for a few minutes, walking down many flights of stairs and turning around various hallways when Jimin spoke up.

"You're not very talkative."

I looked up at Jimin for a moment to find him staring down at me.

I never really noticed how tall Jimin was until now. His presence itself was already intimidating. I felt small and inadequate around him even more intensely than before.

I shook my head. "I don't think there's much to say...I work for you, you're my boss, and that's how it goes." I said matter-of-factly, surprised at my own tone.

"Hmm...that's not how things go around here. At least not with me." He said, licking his lips. I suddenly found myself staring right back at him, my expression laying out everything I was thinking.

What did he mean by that?

I kept eye contact with him for what seemed like forever, until Jimin pulled me into a secluded part of the hallway and into a separate room. He closed the door and locked it.

My heart rate increased drastically as I was pushed up against a wall. The room was dark, and I couldn't see at all. Jimin and I were so close to each other I could feel his breath fanning on my face.

What the fuck is happening right now?

(A/N: Spicing things up a little 🔥 I hope this plot ain't too confusing or boring T_T it gets better I promise. I'm (usually) gonna update pretty frequently since the chapters are gonna be short most of the time.)
