I didn't know where my feet would take me, but I continued running through the large building, even with the cries of Jimin behind me.
Eventually, I came to arrive at the writing department.
Nayeon's department.
I began to look for her office, and finally found it at the end of a hall. I looked up at the golden-plated name tag, and sure enough, it read "Im Nayeon."
I took a few deep breaths before abruptly bursting through the door with a loud "bang!"
Jungkook jumped out of surprise with a small squeal, and Nayeon's head shot to me also in surprise, but seconds after that reaction was replaced with a smirk on her face.
"Well, what do we have here? We were just having a lovely discussion about you." Nayeon dragged out all her words, menace clear in her voice. Ignoring her statement, I spoke out loud and clear, but inside, my heart was palpitating at an irregular rate.
God, let me NOT have an actual panic attack right now.
"What is with you about me and Jimin? I've already told you, he is my boss and there's nothing more with him than that. Get your head straight before I have to screw it on." My heart pained with the words that came out of my mouth; if only I could just rub my relationship in everyone's face and show off my beautiful mochi.
Nayeon was taken aback.
"Oh really? If that's how you're going to act, maybe I should reconsider my decision to let you off the hook...for now."
"Tattletale all you want, you have no evidence."
Nayeon shook her head and strode slowly to me. My body fell stiff.
Jungkook merely watched, his doe eyes showing everything he was thinking. He didn't know what to do.
Before I could even blink, I felt a hand across my cheek. My head drooped to the floor and I felt tears rushing down my tears, the stinging pain lingering. I was pushed roughly to the floor, and my head bashed against the wooden floor. Fuzziness clouded my vision, everything was spinning, and most of all, my fucking head was in excruciating pain.
Screaming and yelling was all I could make out prior to being engulfed by the darkness.
"Babygirl..." A soft hand stroked my aching head.
I slowly come back to reality.
I smiled faintly knowing who it was.
"Jiminie..." I let myself relax and nuzzle into Jimin's hand, my head slightly falling to the side.
"How are you, my love?" Jimin whispered, trying to hide the pain in his voice.
"Terrible. Not that it really matters." I joked.
Jimin let a smile cross his features.
"What the hell happened though. I remember going to Nayeon's office to confront her, but nothing past that point."
Jimin scowled.
"After that demon gave you a concussion, she ran to mommy and claimed you went for her first. The cameras proved wrong, and Mrs. Choi fired her own daughter."
"Woah. That's fucking badass. What about Jungkook?"
Jimin chuckled. "If it hadn't been for Jungkook, you'd probably be in an even worse condition than you are right now."
I made a mental note to pay Jungkook back with my life when I'm discharged.
"So...what now?" I asked.
"We wait for the doctor, of course. You've been out like a light for one whole day honey, you aren't going anywhere anytime soon."
(A/N: The last line sounds so wrong 😂 I got so distracted when writing this, jamming out to Blackpink and NCT with my butchered Korean.🤦💜 Enjoy this for now lovelies. More to come. I love y'all for reading this shitty book.)
