// 3rd Person POV - Flashback \\
As Nayeon dashed out the back door, Lisa rose up from her spot and ran after her.
When Lisa caught up with Nayeon, she yelled out, "Hey! Wait up!"
Nayeon stopped dead in her tracks, turning around to face the disheveled girl only a few feet away from her in the narrow hallway.
"May I help you?" Nayeon spat out.
"I think we have a common interest here, Nayeon. Be nice." Lisa replied with just as much smug in her voice.
Nayeon crossed her arms, clearly unsettled by such sudden behavior coming from a future "idol".
"Out with it, now. What do you want?" Nayeon demanded.
"Don't play dumb, 'cause it's obviously very apparent you're not too fond of Lee Ara, and neither am I."
Nayeon perked up a bit by this. She gestured for Lisa to continue.
"You were over working her quite a bit, more so than any other trainee I've seen today. Your hateful expression never lifted all throughout the session. You, Im Nayeon, have some kind of connection to her, and I want in. No ifs, ands, or buts. Just tell me your story. Maybe we can work something out." Lisa elaborated.
For a moment, Nayeon contemplated this. She's isn't very keen on doing "business" with other people - only in the most extreme cases will she employ a partner to help fill her conniving desires.
"Alright. I can do that. Only if you seriously explain yourself first. We're both strangers, though if we're going to be teaming up, I'm considered to be in a place of power. My orders, my rules, let's set that straight. Go on now, talk."
Lisa sighed. "In short, I hate Ara. She has this idiotic mentality that she's better than me, and everyone else at that. Ara is just weird in general. Plus, she has this hot hunk of a boyfriend - I'd like to make him mine both for the sake of crushing Ara's heart and one-upping her."
Nayeon found herself smiling slightly at Lisa's situation. "That really sounds like it came from a cheesy romantic high school comedy, but okay. You do you."
"Briefly, I'm sort of an old...comrade to her, you could say. We just clashed and our personalities really weren't up to par with one another. Ara thought could take what's mine. I simply couldn't let her, leading up to our subtle yet still ongoing rivalry. What she doesn't perceive is that I continue to watch her closely, stalk her from dusk 'til dawn. She's found love again. I'm not interested in her new fling, though I'm sure he's what you want and I, of course, want something in return. How 'bout it?"
Lisa listened to every bit of Nayeon's explanation as a student to a teacher would, making small mental notes.
"Duh. That's why I came to see you in the first place. What did you have in mind?" Lisa urged.
"You want to ruin Ara's career. So do I. You desire to crush her spirit to the brink of an inescapable depression. You desire to be in the spotlight, reign over all others. For all these scenarios to come true, I have some incriminating information you can use to blackmail her, pressure her into giving up her boyfriend and career. In return, instead of me wasting my money on a private investigator, you can watch over Ara for me."
"So it's settled?" Nayeon concluded, holding her hand out for Lisa to shake.
"It's settled," Lisa replied in agreement, shaking Nayeons hand gently.
