"Break time!" Mina suddenly announced, putting all our previous actions to a halt.
Finally, damn. On the spot I fell down on the rock hard floor, treating it as if it were my bed.
After the movie night with Jungkook and the encounter with Lisa, I've noticed that they've been acting considerably suspicious.
Jungkook has been distant with me, and Lisa hasn't peeped a word to me since, though she does glare at me every now and again.
As I laid on the cold floor, staring at the ceiling, I wondered if I should be concerned. Jisoo exhibited no strange behaviors, and my Chaennie fan club clinged to me still. I became closer to Rosé and Jennie more than ever this past month - somehow they resonated a different vibe, treating me extra nicely and talking to me whenever there's a chance.
"Hey, Ara!" Rosé ran over to me, jumping down and sliding over next to me, smiling brightly.
Speak of the devil. I tried not to giggle.
"Heya, Rosé." I smiled back. l day," I couldn't lie, though, they did brighten my day one way or another.
She took my hand in hers and looked at me, seeming to be mentally formulating what she has to say.
"That day I can't get it out of my head. You were gone for a reasonable time with Lisa to be concerned. There's tension between you guys. Tell me, what happened?" Rosè whispered, fear mixed in her voice.
I suppressed back my tears. I definitely contemplated confiding in her, since she and Jennie seemed not to know anything as of now.
Deciding to take the chance, seeing as this is most certainly the calm before the storm, I stood up abruptly to fetch Jennie.
Grabbing Jennie's hand, we both stopped in front of Rosè.
Jennie smiled, whispering, "Finally gonna tell us?" I hit her arm sheepishly, asking Rosè to lead us somewhere private. Jennie checked behind us every now and then, making sure Jisoo, Lisa, or anyone for that matter were not following us.
Strangely enough, Rosé led us into a storage closet, shutting and locking the door behind her.
Pitch black. I felt out for a light switch; once my hand landed on one, I flicked it upwards, giving the spacious room at least some light.
Rosè and Jennie stared at me expectantly.
"Lisa is blackmailing me, putting it simply." They both let out audible gasps. "She is in accomplice with someone, Im Nayeon, whom of which has a grudge against me and...stole something from me, which was rightly mine from the start."
Before I could go any further, Jennie interrupted. "Wait, so, that mean lady that tested us before, you know her?"
I nodded. "Sadly, yes. She has it out for me. I know Nayeon from my childhood. With Lisa on her side, it doesn't bode anything better for me. I don't know what exactly she has in mind, but what I'm sure of in this moment is that they're attempting to get me fired from YG."
Rosè and Jennie looked to each other in fear and shock.
Suddenly, Jennie's expression shifted from fear to confidence.
"That shouldn't be too much for me to handle. Nayeon has some kind of connection to YG, right? Well, so do I. In fact, he owes me a lot. Probably much more than to Nayeon. Whaddya say? I'll bet any amount of money he'll fall into my trap." Jennie offered.
At this point, I'm super fucking desperate.
"Yeah," I confirmed. "Let's do it."
"Alright!" Rosé and Jennie exclaimed.
// Back In The YG Dance Room
// 3rd person POV
"...We'll have to start without them. Lisa, Jisoo, could you fetch the other girls? Thank you." YG said, preparing to surprise the male trainees and future BLU members with a special announcement.
"Here's the rundown. 5 randomly selected male trainees will be chosen to have a duet with one of the BLU members." Everyone in the room let out gasps, whispers, and the like.
"This is solely for the purpose of promoting and stirring up excitement for their debut. With that being said; let's start."
YG grabbed the tophat full of names, closed his eyes, and shuffled around in it before picking a name out.
"Park Jimin." Jimin's jolted slightly in surprise at his name.
He kmew Ara was a part of BLU. He could only hope that he wouldnt be paired with her - it'll cause problems for both he and, especially, her.
"You'll be with Lee Ara." Jimin went pale.
He was going to have to face Ara again for the first time in, God knows how long.
