Ch. 13: Bothered

~the next day~

I sighed as soon as I woke up because I woke up ten minutes before my alarm rang. I grunted and rolled off my bed before looking at my phone.

From:  Shimkung  [7:01 a.m.]

Good morning, Hyung.

To: Shimkung [7:05 a.m.]

Morning, Kihyunnie

From: Shimkung [7:05 a.m.]

You replied faster than I thought you would. Did I wake you up?

To: Shimkung [7:06 a.m.]

Nah, you didn't. 

From: Shimkung [7:07 a.m.]

Oh, good. Did you eat breakfast yet?

To: Shimkung [7:08 a.m.]

I don't eat breakfast.

From Shimkung [7:08 a.m.]

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

To: Shimkung [7:09 a.m.]

I know...

From: Shimkung [7:09 a.m.]

Mhmm....

To: Shimkung [7:10 a.m.]

I'll be right over to your place in like fifteen minutes or less.

Orasoo~

I tossed my phone onto my bed and entered my bathroom to get ready for school. After I finished washing up, I randomly choose something to wear from my chair. I sniffed the shirt I had put on. It smelled a bit bad, so I sprayed on some cologne. Then, I grabbed my backpack and went downstairs.

"My Heavens. My son woke up without me waking him. It is going to rain today," my mom says sarcastically as she makes herself a cup of coffee.

"Mhmm. I'm going to leave now. Bye," I said without waiting for an answer. As soon as I stepped outside, I stepped in something squishy. I lift up my foot and saw dog poop on it. I groaned and thanked myself for putting on shoes before exiting my house. I washed it off with the hose and made my way to Kihyun's house. Whoever did this better watch out...

When I got to Kihyun's house, I rang the doorbell and waited. 

*rapidly approaching footsteps*

*door opens*

A disheveled and dirty Kihyun looks at me with a big smile. 

"What happened here," I asked as Kihyun had flour on his face and his hair was a mess.

"I made breakfast for us," he says and holds up a tote bag he was holding onto.

"Aw," I said and took the bag from him. I opened it up and the smell of pancakes drifted up to my nose. When I looked back up, I didn't see Kihyun. A few minutes later, Kihyun came back with his backpack and a thermos.

"Let's go," he sings and shuts his front door. I nodded, moved the tote bag to my left hand, and held onto his left hand with my right. He glances at our joined hands and blushes before looking away.

As we were walking to school, Kihyun rambles on and on about his kitchen mishaps while I just simply listened and nodded. What we didn't hear was a bicyclist speeding past us. Acting quickly, I grabbed onto Kihyun and spun us around so that the bicyclist didn't hit us. 

"Watch where you're going, asshole," I shouted after him.

"There are all kinds of people. I guess," Kihyun sighs.

~at school~

After we had breakfast together, Kihyun had to run to his first period class as he forgot that there was going to be a quiz today. So, I went to my locker to put away the tote bag with empty containers into my locker that got fixed sometime ago. I went to open my locker and felt pin pricks. I pulled my hands back to find six puncture wounds. I looked at the inside of the handle to find six thumb tacks glue on there.

That little shit should just out and fight me like a real man. I busted off the tacks and opened my locker to only get covered in some weird green slime. No fucking way....

Some girls passing by giggled but stopped when I glared at them. Well good thing, first period for me is gym...

~in first period~

All of the first period P.E. classes are having a joint class today for the mile run. We all lined up and waited for one of the teachers to say go. Absentmindedly, I glanced over my shoulder and saw that brat who can't keep his hands to himself. He smirks at me and laughs. Before I could make my way over to confront him, Mrs. Jeon shouts, "On your mark. Get set. And go." Like a team of horses, we ran.

A/N: I will be speeding up the plot some more, so don't get thrown off by the plot holes. Lol.
