Ch. 61: ???

"Alright, ladies and gentlemen. The 1000 meter freestyle event is about to start. First off, let me introduce the athletes in this event. In Lane 1, we have...," the announcer says.

"Did you see my match," a voice says suddenly.

"Oh! Mingyu, it is just you. You scared me," I laughed. 

"Sorry. I didn't mean too," he smiles boyishly.

"No worries. Just don't do it again."

"Okay."

"You did great. I wish I could swim like that," I said.

"Really? I could teach you."

"I-," I began to say when the announcer chimes in again.

"On your mark! Get set! Go," the announcer shouts. I turn my attention back to Hyunwoo. Everyone was at more or less at the same pace at first. But, soon enough, the swimmers were faster broke out from the crowd. Two members from the other team, Chanyeol, and Hyunwoo were leading. It was neck and neck between them four. I squeezed my hands in fists in anticipation. Seconds later, one of the members from the other school was slowing down. I started to shake my leg anxiously because I didn't want the others to win. 

When it came time to the final leg of the race, the other remaining member from the other school slowed down. Now, the race is between Hyunwoo and Chanyeol. I was worried that Chanyeol would have an advantage given how tall he is and how long his limbs are. However. Hyunwoo proves me wrong when he touched the wall milliseconds before Chanyeol did. Hyunwoo pops out of the water and cheers loudly. 

I shouted out of happiness that he won gold. Baekhyun groans as his boyfriend got silver and not gold. "He won," I said happily.

"Only by a few milliseconds," Baekhyun says before clicking his tongue. 

"Captain doesn't disappoint, huh," Mingyu asks suddenly. I almost forgot that he was there.

"Mhmm...," I paused as a strange look crosses his eyes. Before I could ask him what's wrong, he stands up abruptly.

"I have to go back now. It is going to be my turn again soon," he says quickly before leaving. 

What's up with him...?
