Hyunwoo
~after school~
I made my way over to Kihyun's sixth period class all the while carrying a few snacks for the purple haired male to eat. Like the popular saying goes, the best way to a man's heart is through the stomach. But, I mainly bring him snacks all the time because he would always eat so little compared to what a normal teen aged boy would eat.
When I turned into the hall, I spotted Kihyun outside his classroom. I smiled and was about to call out to him when Changkyun comes running from nowhere and hugs him. Kihyun shrieks and then quickly smiles when he realizes it was Changkyun. As I got closer, Kihyun was reprimanding Changkyun for scaring him and how he should respect his hyung.
"Come on. Live a little," Changkyun laughs.
"Kyunnie, you are a grown boy now. It isn't cute anymore," Kihyun frowns and then he finally notices me. "Hyung~," he says in a melodic voice.
"Mhmm," I answered and wrapped an arm around his waist. Kihyun looks at me in surprise, but was rendered speechless. A conflicted look pasted through Changkyun's eyes, but he quickly steels his gaze into a neutral one.
"Hello...," he says in a flat tone.
"S'up," I replied and held tighter onto Kihyun.
*awkward but tension filled silence*
"I'll see you tomorrow, Kihyun hyung. I just remembered that Jooheon wanted me to help him with his English homework," he says while giving me a sharp look.
"Okay. Then, run along. Text me if you guys need help," Kihyun chirps. Changkyun nods, swiftly turns around, and walks away. I watched him leave to make sure that he did. Then, I felt pain blooming across my left cheek. Puzzled, I looked down to see an annoyed Kihyun.
"Ow," I whined.
"Hmph. Son Hyunwoo, why are you doing this," Kihyun says while making a weird hand gesture.
"Doing what," I asked rhetorically knowing full well what he meant.
"I don't get why you are even suspicious of Changkyun. He is harmless. A baby. I practically raised him myself," he says.
"I was just a bit jealous of how close you two are. That's all," I lied. "I mean... look at you. Who wouldn't want to date you? So smart. So pretty. So cute," I added and winked at him.
"You think I'm cute," he stutters and hits me out of embarrassment. I chuckled and kissed him on the cheek.
"Very cute," I told him which made him hit me again.
"You're cute too," he says under his breath and gives me a small smile.
