Kihyun
~an hour or so later~
I laid there on my bed wide awake. I didn't even feel the least bit sleepy while Hyunwoo was snoring away. The snoring had bothered me at first but not anymore. It wasn't like he snored really loud but it still bothered me because I am a light sleeper.
I sighed loudly as my head began to ache from overthinking and my ears are ringing. As if he heard me in his sleep, he tightens his hold on me for a few seconds before relaxing. I smiled at this before starting to toy with the end of his shirt. He's closing in, you know? Creeping outside your window like he did before. Just waiting for his chance....
Shut up! He might have missed his chance tonight. But, next time...who knows what will happen? Ahhahaha! It won't happen. You think that Hyunwoo can be around all the time? Or his friends? There will be an opportunity. No. Yes. No. Yes.
I rubbed at my temples as this internal fight with the voice is making my headache worst. I chewed on my lower lip and tried to go to my happy place. But, it proved to be a long fight as the voice didn't want to go away. When it finally went away for now, I sat up and go out of Hyunwoo's embrace before going downstairs.
I went straight into the kitchen to make something not because I am hungry or anything but cooking helps me relax. I remembered that there was extra rice from tonight so I decided to make kimchi fried rice with some bossam. I turned on the light after feeling around for the light switch and went to the fridge to take out the bossam and kimchi.
The bossam was already cut into slices but I still diced them up. "Oh, shit. I forgot to grab a bowl," I said to myself before washing my hands and taking out a bowl from the cabinets. Then, I put the diced bossam into the bowl before opening the kimchi container.
"Ah, that smells so good," I said. Halemoni's kimchi is the best. I grab some out before dicing it up too and washing my hands. After putting the rest away, I took out a pan from the cabinets and put it on the stove before turning it on. By the time I finished stir frying the kimchi and bossam, I heard someone coming downstairs.
I turned to my right to see a sleepy Hyunwoo rubbing his stomach as he approached. "Ki," he says in a sleepy but questioning tone.
"Sorry, did I wake you up," I asked as I hadn't paid attention to how much noise I was making while cooking.
"No, I woke up to go to the bathroom and then I noticed that you were gone. I thought the worst but then I smelt food and knew you were down here," he smiles sleepily before hugging me from behind and pressing a kiss to the side of my neck.
"Oh...go sit down. I can't cook if you keep hugging me like this," I chuckled.
"What if I don't want to let go," he says in a playful tone.
