~almost an hour later~
I groaned loudly as I slowly became conscious. As I tried to open my eyes, a sharp pain blooms at the side of my neck. I reflexively tried to cover it with my hand but I couldn't reach it. Something was preventing me from doing so. I open my eyes and closed it soon after as the sudden flow of light into my eyes hurt.
I took a deep breath before blinking multiple times and then opening my eyes fully. I am on a bed that is kind of like a hospital bed and my hands are tied to the metal railings on the side by ropes that dug into my skin.
The only thing lighting up the room was a single ceiling light. It seems like I was in a basement or something as the window was really close to the ceiling. I tugged at the ropes in an attempt to make them loose and escape but it was to no avail.
I was going to sit up and try to untie my hands with my teeth but the door opens at the top of the stairs in front of me. Light pours in from the opening and someone makes his way down the stairs. Each step instilled fear into me.
"You're awake," the person says before he gets down here. When he comes into view, I realized it was indeed Seo Jihyeok. I chewed on my lower lip as my mind raced to think of a way to escape. "You don't know how long I have been waiting for this moment...When your family moved, I was so sad and...But, that doesn't matter now that you are back," he says as he approaches.
I tried my best to show that I am not scared of him in order to not give him that satisfaction. But, my body refuses to stop shaking like a leaf. He takes a seat on the bed and looks at me with a longing look. He reaches over to cup my cheek but I turned away. Then, he grabs my chin and forces me to look at him.
"But, you and that.... that rat bastard! How dare he touch you?! You're mine. I saw you first," he seethes before going off on a rant about how he is the one for me and not Hyunwoo. He suddenly stands up and starts to pace in front of me. As he continues, he gets progressively more angry.
Hyunwoo, where are you? I'm...scared.
