"Stay here for a minute. I'll go get my stuff and change. Then, we can go to your house," he says.
"But, don't you have to shower? You know...to get the chlorine off of you," I asked as I twist the towel that I had used to dry his hair in my hands.
"Yeah, but I'll take one at your place."
"Okay, I'll be right here," I said with a small smile. He nods and was about to turn to go to the locker room, but he hesitates and looks at me. I tilted my head to the side slightly wondering why he did that. Seconds later, he leaves.
I then sat down on the platform that he was sitting on earlier with my legs dangling off the edge as I sat on the part that extended out to the pool. Absentmindedly, I started to hum Dean's Half Moon as I waited for Hyunwoo to come back.
Suddenly, a hand grabs onto my shoulder and pushes me forward. I gasped loudly and before I could do anything else. The hand pulls me back. I looked to my right to see Mingyu smiling mischievously. "Saved your life," he says and merongs.
"Such a brat," I muttered and smacked him for giving me a scare.
"Sorry, it was just a joke," he says with his hands held up like if someone was surrendering.
"It's n- it's okay. Just don't do it again," I replied.
"Noted...so...you and the team captain are dating?"
"Yeah, is it that noticeable," I asked shyly.
"Well, if you guys weren't, then today's actions are a bit questionable."
"I guess they would be..."
"You know what? Can I get your number now? You said that you would give it to me after practice," he says and holds out his phone. When I went to grab it, a tan hand stops him and then a body blocks me from him. Puzzled, I looked up to see Hyunwoo.
"Hyunwoo, what are you doing," I asked with a bit of frustration. It wasn't his first time trying to push people away from me.
"Yeah, Team Captain Son. What are you doing," Mingyu huffs. Hyunwoo ignores him and turns around to grab my wrist. He pulls me off the platform, which made me drop the towel that I was holding out of suprise, and makes way to the exit. I turned back to Mingyu and mouthed an apology and that I would talk to him later.
When we got outside, Hyunwoo pretends that he didn't just do that. I gritted my teeth and grounded my feet not letting him make me walk any further. He turns to face me with an expression that I could not read at the moment.
"Explain yourself! What was that?! Am I not allowed to make friends," I shouted.
