"jaemin, huh?" i asked him as my coffee was placed in front of me."sooyooung, huh?" he chuckled a bit, watching me take a sip of my coffee. "you're very pretty, you know that?"
i nearly choked.
"what?" i asked, setting my coffee down, making sure not to spill any on me.
"you heard me." he smirked as he received his own coffee from the barista.
"thanks, i guess." i smiled, playing with my fingers once again.
"you look like you're feeling pretty lonely. trust me, i know how that feels." jaemin grabbed a napkin from across the bar and started writing on it. he picked up my coffee cup and slid the napkin under it. "if you ever need anything, you can always call me." he said, and with that, he was gone.
i lifted up my coffee to pull the napkin out. there, his phone number was written. or, it had tried to be written.
jaemin had smudged the numbers to the point where only half of the numbers were legible. whether on purpose or on accident, i was sure i wouldn't ever hear from him again.
