CHAPTER 2

BROOKE'S POV

After that amazing dinner last night, Alex and I went home. I still couldn't believe that I'm getting married. The sound of my phone ringtone is what woke me up from my beauty sleep. I blindly start searching for my phone on the night stand, and when I finally found it, I answered to whoever was calling.

'' Yes? '' I slowly spoke. The person on the other side chuckled probably not surprised to hear my morning voice. 

'' Good morning princess, did I wake ya? '' the strong Irish accent said. I opened my eyes to see what time it was. It was 9 am. 

'' Niall why the hell are you calling me at 9 am? I thought you were the kind of person who likes to sleep till noon. '' 

'' Well usually I am, but the lads are coming over later today, so I wanted to let you know if you want to come over. Louis is bringing Freddie with him so you can annoy the kid just like you usually do. '' he laughed and I rolled my eyes. 

'' For your information, Freddie loves my company and I'm not annoying him! But yeah I'll come over as soon as I decide to leave my bed. Oh and be sure to make me some coffee because I'll be there soon. '' he chuckled 

'' Of course princess, I'll see ya later. '' He said and after that I hang up. I slowly get up from my bed to get ready. Alex is working today so I'm gonna be alone pretty much the whole day. After I took a quick shower I just god dressed in my favorite Adidas sweatpants and some basic t-shirt. I was suddenly getting anxious and nervous of Niall's reaction to my engagement. My thoughts got the best of me when I decided to take off my ring, he doesn't need to know immediately and it's best if we enjoy the time we still got left before the preparation for the wedding start. I grab the keys of my car and slowly make my way towards Niall's flat. Few minutes of driving and I arrived in front of his building. I get out of my car and walk inside the building. The doorman greets me. I call down the elevator and press the button for 5th floor. When the elevator door opens, I walk towards Niall's apartment. I knock on the door waiting for my not-so-blonde-haired friend to open. Few seconds of waiting the door opens and I'm greeted by my best friend. 

'' Oh look who decided to leave their bed. '' Niall laughed as he moved a side to let me in. I stick my tong out to him as I walk inside of his apartment.  We both walk over to the living room where we sit on the couch. We chatted for a while. He even remembered to bring me coffee and because of that he deserved a hug. Few minutes after , somebody knocked on the door. Niall got up and opened the door. 

'' Tommo! Come in, come in! '' Niall moved aside so that Louis and Freddie could walk in. As soon as they were inside of the apartment I got up from the couch and hugged Louis. I haven't seen the lads since forever.

'' Nice to see ya too B., '' Louis chuckled. Freddie starts running around the apartment before I even had a chance to give him a hug. I crunch down so that he could come to me and give me a hug.

'' Freddie , come give me hug. '' I pout at him as the little blonde boy giggles and runs to me and gives me a big hug. 

'' Hiii aunti B. '' he giggles and it just melts my heart from all of that cuteness. 

'' Oh my look how grown you are already. Soon you'll be all grown up and be taller than me. '' I kiss his cheek and I let go of him. Louis and Niall laugh at my comment when I get up and I look at them with a raising eyebrow. 

'' Care to share what's so funny lads? '' I cross my arms over my chest. They just look at each other and burst out of laughing again. 

'' The fact that you're telling Freddie that he'll soon be taller than you, which won't be too hard since you're so short. '' Louis said as he and Niall continued to laugh. I rolled my eyes at their behavior. Neither one of them acted their age ( pun intended). They'll always act worse than a five year old. Someone knocked on the door again but they didn't bother to wait for someone to open the door so they just walked in. Harry and Liam came over to the living room where me and the lads were. I squealed and run over to them. All of the lads changed a bit during the hiatus. Harry mocked me by squealing back at me.
