Chapter 5

BROOKE'S POV

Today was Halloween. Niall, Jenna, Noah, Alex and I are supposed to go to the party. But unfortunately for me, Alex has to work tonight and now I have no idea what to dress as. We were supposed to go as Cinderella and Prince Charming but now I have to think of last minute Halloween costume. I grab my phone and dial Jenna's number. Few seconds later she answered.

" Hi babe, what's up? " Jenna's cheerful voice brought my mood up a little. '' I'm freaking out, Alex and I were supposed to together as Cinderella and Prince Charming but he has to work tonight, and now I have to think of a last minute costume and I have no idea what do, help. '' I start rambling nervously. Jenna stops my rambling. 

'' Wow calm down babe, it's gonna be fine. I'll come with you to the Halloween store, and you'll find yourself a new costume. No need to panic. '' she chuckles. '' I know that, but I really wanted to be a princess at least for one night.It's been my childhood dream. '' 

'' You know you've always been Niall's princess. So why don't you call him and ask him if he already has a costume. '' I could hear a smirk in her voice. Sometimes she would act like I don't have a boyfriend or I guess fiance. '' I guess you're right. But I doubt he doesn't have a costume already so I better get ready for disappointment. '' we say our goodbyes and I hang up. I dial Niall's number, and after a few rings he answers. 

'' Hello? '' I giggle at his morning voice. It's like he's being hot without even trying. '' Good morning sleepy head. Did I wake you? '' 

'' No, I've woken up like 10 minutes ago. What's up? '' 

'' About tonight's Halloween party... I'm wondering if you have a costume for tonight? '' I bit my lip nervously. '' That shit is tonight? Fuck I totally forgot that today is Halloween so I guess I don't have costume. ''

'' What if I tell you that you can come as Prince Charming and you don't have to worry about your costume? '' I grin happily. '' I can't show up in the same costume as Alex, that's silly. '' 

'' But that's the thing, Alex can't come to the party because he has to work. So I was wondering if you'd be very kind and be Prince Charming to my Cinderella? '' I giggle. '' I'd be honored princess. I'll come over in a few hours to pick up a costume. '' we say goodbye and I hang up. I grab a pillow and I let a happy squeal in it. After I sent Jenna a quick message letting her know that Niall and I will be going together to a party. She responded with a winking emoji and I just shook my head at her silliness. Since I still had a few hours until Niall comes over, I decided to make myself a lunch, but first I had to run over to grocery store. I grabbed my car keys and headed over to grocery store. After a successful trip to grocery store, I made myself some chicken alfredo pasta. When I finished eating, I decided to catch up on my favorite tv show - The Flash. Few hours have passed, when I heard a knock on my door. I got up and opened the door, where I was greeted by Niall. I stepped aside so that he could enter, and he gave me a quick hug. 

'' I'm surprised that you're not already in your Cinderella dress. '' He chuckled and I rolled my eyes at him. '' I didn't want to ruin it. Anyways you reminded me that it's time for me to start getting ready. You can also get ready here, let me take out the costumes. '' I quickly walk over to the bedroom and I take out the costumes out of the closet. I handle Niall the Prince costume and I grab everything I'll need before I head over to the bathroom to get dressed. Firstly I take off my clothes and put the robe on. After that I did my makeup which took me forever to do. And lastly before putting on my dress, I curled my hair and putted it into a neat bun. I putted my dress on and tiara before I looked into a mirror. I truly felt like a princess for a first time, smiling I leave the bathroom.
