Chapter 25

Brooke's POV

After I left Niall's dressing room we all went home. Well they dropped me off and I closed myself in my room once again. Everything should be fine, I said to him what I've been holding inside for so long. I felt ten pounds lighter now.  Jenna and Noah were leaving in a couple of hours to go back to London. So I decided to surprise them with dinner for dealing with my mess. "Hey you two, " I said as I walked in the living room. " As a little thank you for dealing with my mess, I made a dinner reservation only for you two. I planned it so that after you are done with dinner you can go straight to the airport without worrying about being late for your flight. " They both stared at me blankly as if I just told them I killed their parents. "  I'm speechless. You should't have, we're your best friends of course we'd be here for you throughout your mess. Right? " Noah nodded " That's what best friends are for. " I hugged them before giving them my car keys. " Take my car just leave it at the airport, I have a spare key, I'll come and pick it up later. Now go get ready, and put some fancier clothes. " Some time later they were ready to go. Jenna wore a black playsuit with a slit while Noah went with classic black shirt and some fancier pants. Soon they were on their way to go after we said our goodbyes.

Jenna's POV

We had no idea where we were going since Brooke already put the address in GPS and hasn't told us where exactly she booked us dinner. It was half an hour ride and when we finally arrived I was blow minded. We went inside and they walked us to our table. It was Italian restaurant, so I ordered some pasta and Noah ordered lasagna. It had such a nice vibe and staff were so nice.
" It's such a nice restaurant. Do you like your food? " I started small talk. For some reason he was very quiet today, I'm not sure if it's because of what happened with Brooke and Niall yesterday and earlier today. " Yeah it's nice, wanna try some? " " Of course " he grabbed a small piece of lasagna and fed me. It tasted like heaven " Can we move here so that I could eat here forever? " He chuckled. " Sure if it's what you want " I grinned " You would do that for me? That's so sweet. " I leaned over the table to give Noah a kiss. We chatted for a little more before we wanted to pay. Turns out part of Brooke's surprise dinner reservation is that she also paid for our meals. She'll hear from me about it, but we still had some little time before airport so we decided to go see Empire state building one last time before we leave for some time. We drove over there while listening to Rolling Stones and some other artists, including our boys. After we arrived and parked the car, I wanted to have a picture of myself in front of empire state building as a memory of my first time in New York. " Can you take a picture of me here, and then we'll go inside to see the view, yeah? " Noah agreed as he told me how to pose so he could take as best photo as he can. A few photos later, we finally went inside in observatory to see the view. It was truly breathtaking. He took some photos of me there too and after he was done I took some photos of him too, also a few selfies with both of us in the photo. Soon after we were done with that, I couldn't tear my eyes from how beautiful New York looked from up here. It also lead to me being totally oblivious about what was happening behind me.
" Baby? Can you turn around for a second? I need to show you something. "

Noah's POV

I was feeling anxious all day about this. Of course I knew how she felt about marriage, and I respected that, it's her opinion. But I couldn't help myself but to wonder would she ever reconsideration her feelings about marriage for me. I told Brooke that I would want to propose to Jenna, but I wanted to see Brooke's opinion since sometimes they can be basically one person. Or as they like to say, they are last two brain cells of one person. She said that she's not completely sure where does Jenna stand on point of marriage, but that she is hundred percent sure that she hasn't seen Jenna this happy with anyone as she is with me. Which gave me a little boost of confidence. Here comes either everything or nothing. I go down on my knee, taking a deep breath  before reaching into my pocket to take out the ring. " Baby? Can you turn around for a second? I need to show you something. " As she turned around, a small scream left her mouth. " I've always since the day 1 been aware of your opinion on marriage. And I completely understand where are you coming from. That's why I'm asking you to consider this. I don't want you to feel pressured about having to say yes or something. You are the only person I can see myself growing old with, making fun of other elders, saying we're still young looking. Jenna will you please do me an honour of becoming my wife? " One of the first times I couldn't actually read her facial expression. " I will. " She grinned at me before pulling me up in a kiss. I couldn't be happier man than I was right now, apart from the day she'll become my wife. " Honestly I was getting worried that I might've done something since you've been acting a bit strange today. You fool, as much as I hate to ruin this enchanting moment of ours, we really need to hurry if we wanna catch the flight. " " You're right, but let me put the ring on your finger first. " I did as said, and we were off to airport.

The next day

Brooke's POV
Around 7 am the next day I woke up and went to pick up my car so I can go to work. I texted Jenna to call me when they land so I can be sure they arrived home safely. But what I didn't except is a call around 10 am Jenna excitedly telling me the news that she got engaged. To be honest I never in my life thought I'd hear those words from her and I couldn't be more happier for her that she found the one she considered changing her mind for. Instead of screaming out loudly, I screamed inside myself. " Omg Jenna I'm so happy for you!!!! I wanna cry now, like seriously happy tears are forming in my eyes right now. " Jenna laughed " I know, who would've thought after saying everything against marriage for so many years and now I'm getting married. Huh strange world. " " Have you told your parents yet? " " I literally just got home and wanted to call you first so I still haven't but I will after we finish. Also we both agreed on not having a big flashy wedding. We're gonna get married in Vegas by Elvis of course. And you'll be maid of honour if you want to. " I wasn't surprised to hear that. " Are you actually kidding? Of course I wanna be your maid of honour!!! Girl prepare for the best bachelorette party, cause it's gonna be a wild one. " " Wouldn't expect anything less from you. I might have bad news too. Niall's going to be the best man. " " It's fine don't worry, it's your day we're gonna make sure everything goes as you want it to go. "

We talked for a few more minutes before I had to go back to work. Who would've thought that my best friend is finally marrying the man of her dreams.
I guess dreams do come true after all.

A bit of a surprise chapter for my birthday girl. Happy birthday to my best friend. Thank you for being my biggest fan since the day 1 of this story. This couple of next chapters will mostly surround around Jenna and Noah's wedding preparations. Oh also drama is coming soon. xxx
