Chapter 9

BROOKE'S POV

Today was all about my writing. Ever since I got degree in writing, I wanted to accomplish my childhood dream - to publish my own book. When I was a teenager all I ever did was read wattpad stories about One Direction and now I'm best friends with them, and ever since then I wanted to become a writer. I turned on my laptop and prepared myself some snacks because I knew I won't stop writing until I've wrote at least one full chapter. When laptop was turned on, I opened up the Word document where I already have written a few chapters. I stretch my fingers and start writing. Inspiration for this book always comes to me from songs. Every chapter is inspired by some song. For example the chapter I'm currently writing is inspired Little Mix's new album. It's all about the women's power. It's funny how people mistreat women thinking they're weaker sex but it quite opposite. The poison is always kept in small bottles and it's the same with women. We may look harmless outside but on the inside we're ready to fight if we need to. I always hated when women were putted down just because they used to think that only man can have the power. How ridiculous was that? Or when they judge women based on their body and their appearance. It's so ridiculous that it makes me wanna laugh in their face now and tell them that they should enjoy the power as much as they can because soon women will take over the world and the world wouldn't be such a disaster full of wars and politic crap. Any way back to my book, the main female character is called Sofia and the main male character is called Lucas. I decided to not be a basic bitch and write about the bad boy - good girl thing as they usually do. It's exactly the opposite the girl is a bad bitch while he's a good boy. She's a powerful latina and I stan her. Who says that the girls can't be bad? As I was writing, Jenna texted me asking if she can come over. I texted her back that she's welcome to come over at any time. Few minutes later someone rang at the door. I got up and opened the door, revealing Jenna. Her eyes were red and I'm assuming from crying. I quickly pulled her inside my apartment, hugging her. She broke down in my arms as she began crying again. I hold her tight, quickly moving us to the couch. 

'' Hey babe calm down, don't cry please, what's the matter babe? '' I pulled away from our hug and wiped her tears away. '' Noah and I had a big fight. He's super mad at me and I just had to get away from the house. I'm sorry if I bother you and I just couldn't think of anywhere else to come. '' she sobs and just looking at her while she's crying breaks my heart. She rarely cries in front of people and to see her breaking in front of me just makes me want to protect her from the world. I pull her close and hug her tight. '' Don't ever think that you're not welcome here. You're always welcome here 24/7, okay? And what did you fight about? '' she sighs and she rest her head on my shoulder. '' We were out last night and he left me alone for a minute and while he was gone some random guy approached me and tried to flirt with me which seemed funny to me because his flirting was really bad. But that's not what Noah thought. He was so sure I was flirting back with that guy and that just made me so mad. We came come and I didn't want to talk about that so I just went straight to the bed. He didn't sleep with me in the bed Brooke, he slept on the couch. And when I woke up today, I thought that everything will be normal but I was wrong. He asked me so many questions and we started fighting and I couldn't stand it anymore so I just grabbed my car keys, phone and texted you asking if I can come over. '' She tells me everything and I understand her. '' Oh babe, I've been through that with Alex and we also fought about that. So I left and went to my parents' place for a day or two until he realized his mistake. Alex can talk to him if you want to? '' I ask her and she nods. I grab my phone and I sent a text to Alex letting him know about the situation and asking him if he can talk to Noah about that. Few seconds later he texts me back telling me that he'll call him now. I smile and leave my phone focusing on my best friend. I got up and made her some chamomile tea to calm her down a bit.  We chatted for a bit until she was fully calmed. We decided that we should go to the Amusement park. I drove to the nearest one and when I parked Jenna hopped out of the car and made her way towards the man who was selling some churros. I chuckled at her and accompanied her. We just walked through the park eating foods and making fun of people who were puking on the rides. When the sun was starting to set, we made our way back to my place. When I opened the door, I never expected to see Noah sitting there in the living room with Alex. Jenna was shocked as much as I was and as soon as both of them heard someone opening the door they turned their heads towards the door. When Noah saw us he quickly stood up and made his way towards Jenna. I moved aside to stand by Alex as we watched them stood there awkwardly. Jenna was the first one to break the silence as she spoke. '' I'm sorry if I made you think that I was flirting with that guy last night. it's just...'' before she could finish her sentence he interrupted her by pressing a small kiss on her lips. I smiled knowing that Alex must've explained to him everything and that made me look at the boy next to me. I placed a hand on his cheek before kissing him and I could feel his smile as we kissed. He broke the kiss, smiling at me. '' What did I deserve that for? '' he asks quietly as he gently stroke my cheek. His blue eyes looked at me lovingly and I just smiled back at him. '' Because you just made my best friend happy again. '' I whispered back. He pressed his lips onto my temple making me squeeze my eyes shut. Jenna and Noah were talking quietly and Alex and I decided that we should give them some privacy so we headed over to the kitchen. '' Honestly, how did I get so lucky? You're everything I ever dreamed of and I can't believe I'm going to be your wife in a few months. '' I wrapped my arms around his waits, the height difference making it's appearance, as I had to look up to see his eyes. He wrapped his arms around my waist too, kissing the tip of my nose. '' The real question is how did I get so lucky with you? I was literally shitting my pants when I was asking you out for the first time and I get to marry you? Luck couldn't be more on my side than it already is. '' I tipped toed so that I could kiss him properly. Wrapping my arms around his neck bringing him down a bit, before he lifted me up and placed me on the kitchen counter, breaking the kiss. '' Baby we should stop before anything happens while we have guests. '' He chuckled and I grumbled. I seriously sometimes get horny in the worst situations. Alex grabs some things he needs to make a lunch while I sit on the counter watching his cute appearance. Ugh I just want to jump on him and do him on the table but I gotta compose myself. I'll do him after Jenna and Noah leave. Soon the lunch was ready and all four of was ate. After the meal, we played some board games until Noah and Jenna decided it's time for them to leave. After we said goodbye to Noah and Jenna, I relaxed on the couch until Alex sat next to me and started kissing my neck slowly. I bit my lip as I feel him  sucking my sweet spot under the ear. This  is gonna be fun.
