Olivia managed a life where she was growing stronger by the day. She didn't need a man in her life to help raise the baby. All she needed was the confidence that she could do it. And she had that.

So 3 weeks after Elliot and Brian both tried to come back into her life, Elliot had moved from Manhattan SVU to Queens SVU. Brian had started to rent an apartment in the building across from Olivia's building because if she didn't want them to be close, he wanted it. He wanted to hold her in his arms and he wanted to be her boyfriend and maybe her husband at some point, he just needed to try and convince her to give the baby up.

Olivia left her apartment and headed down the hall. Today was the day she could find out what her baby is, but she doesn't even know if she wants to know. She feels like maybe it would be a little more special to find out once the baby is here. The same with picking out a name, because she'd know it when she held her baby for the first time.

"Olivia." Elliot breathed, from where he stood next to her small blue car. Olivia turned around after she locked the building's door behind her.

"Elliot? What are you doing here?" She questioned, and he swallowed hard as he tried to gain enough courage to tell her how he felt.

"Liv, I don't want to stress you out or anything. It's just that I love you. That is what Brian and I were fighting over. He told me that he loved you, and then I told him that I love you too. There isn't a way in this world where I won't be able to get over the fact that I love you. So, please just let me talk to you."

"I'm on my way to an appointment. So I'm busy. Do you think that this could wait till like 20 years from now? When I don't hate you as much as I do right now?" Olivia sighed, as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"Can I ride along? So I can at least talk and if you don't listen, you don't. But it's hard to just have you push me away."

"You ran, Elliot. You were kinda asking me to push you away. So, I'm going to head to my appointment. You can stand here all day if you want, but for a warning, it's going to rain today."

Elliot followed Olivia to her appointment, and she was really angry when he came up beside her and started to walk with her.

"You are so fucking stupid," Olivia exclaimed, as she stopped and turned to look at him.

"Olivia, I love you! Come on, you haven't felt anything for me before?" He questioned.

"Of course I have! God, how couldn't I? I worked with you for years, and I fell in love with you. But I love my baby more than I love you because you left me!" She yelled.

"I'm here now. Can't we just start anew? Can't we just pretend that we just met and it was love at first sight?" Elliot whispered as he grabbed her arm. She turned towards him and swallowed hard.

Elliot was always Olivia's kryptonite. She couldn't say no to him, because for the longest time, he was pretty much her life.

"Hey, you are absolutely stunning," Elliot spoke, as he released her arm and reached his hand out to her. Olivia laughed softly, before taking his hand and shaking it.

"I'm Olivia."

"Elliot. Would you mind if I joined you? You look like you could use someone to sit with you." Elliot spoke, and Olivia rolled her eyes before heading towards the doors.

"You better sit quietly and just listen. Don't speak."

"I think I can do that." Elliot smiled. He quickly walked up to her and grabbed her hand. He intertwined their fingers together, and Olivia started to laugh.

"You think you are so smooth, huh?"

"It's working, right?"

"Kinda."

Olivia and Elliot ate lunch together, and then they took a few minutes to figure out how it felt to kiss each other. But once they realized that they liked it a lot, they knew they had to stop and go slow. Olivia was fragile, and even if Elliot can be the glue to fix the cracks that Brian left in Olivia's heart, he didn't want to hurt her more than she already was.

But Brian didn't care if he ended up hurting Olivia even more than he already had.

"Hey," Brian whispered as Olivia climbed out of her car. She stopped when she saw Brian standing up from where he sat on the steps of Olivia's building.

"What do you want?" She huffed.

"I want to talk. Can't you at least do that for me?" He asked, and she laughed bitterly.

"You want me to do something for you? What have you done for me? Other than sleep with me and then running away? Yeah, thanks for the baby and all, but I don't owe you anything."

"Li-"

"When I said that I'd you a restraining order against you, I meant it."

"I know you did. But I live right over there. So I can be closer to you. So you and I can be together." He spoke, as he pointed at his building.

"I don't want to be with you, Brian! I don't want to give up OUR child because YOU are still a child!"

"I'm not the one acting as if you can just throw away what we had!" Brian yelled, and Olivia stomped towards him and slapped him hard across his cheek.

"You left. I didn't do anything to you. I just loved you like there was no tomorrow, and I tried to keep you happy because, for the longest time, you were my only person. You held me when I was sad and wiped my tears whenever I cried. Now there is no space for you in my life. Because you have a huge mushroom cloud of toxic thoughts, feelings, and actions. You do one little thing, and before I know it, I'm a single pregnant woman who has to try and figure out what to tell my baby when he or she is older and is asking about who their father is. Was he a good man? Did he die fighting in a war? Did he love them? Well, the answer to those questions is only no. Because you don't love them. You didn't die, you ran. And you aren't a good man. You are a son of a bitch that refuses to leave me alone. So go back to your apartment and leave me and my child alone."
