Olivia sat on the edge of the couch in Amanda's apartment. She felt like her stomach was in knots as she waited for her phone to stop ringing. Elliot had called her, but she knew it was probably to tell her he filed for divorce. She didn't want to get a divorce from him, and she most certainly didn't want to face a life without her sons completely.
"Liv? Are you going to answer that?" Amanda yawned, as she came out of her bedroom. Olivia quickly silenced her phone before looking at her friend.
"I'm sorry. I should've declined his call." Olivia whispered.
"Liv, was that Elliot?" Amanda questioned. Olivia nodded tearfully as her phone finally went dark.
"Why didn't you answer it?" Amanda questioned next.
"Because I think he wants a divorce. I don't want one. I want to go back home to where my kids are. I want to hold my sons and I want to be with Elliot still." Olivia whimpered.
"See what he had to say. Maybe he wants you to come back home." Amanda spoke, as she sank down beside Olivia. She placed her hand on Olivia's back as Olivia unlocked her phone.
"Olivia, it's Elliot. I know it's late and all, but Cassidy and the rest of the boys are really acting out since you aren't here. The night you left Cassidy had an accident and he yelled at me and said he hated me. I need you to come home and deal with the boys. They won't eat and if they do, they complain about what I make them." Elliot huffed, before ending the message. Olivia looked over at Amanda and swallowed hard.
"He just needs my help. He doesn't need me."

Olivia parked outside of the house and waited until she knew Elliot would be up to get ready for work. She climbed out of her car and headed up the driveway. She typed the code into the garage and opened the door, before heading towards the kitchen door. Elliot opened it and looked at her.
"So you ignore my call but you are here." He huffed.
"You said you needed help. Just let me help you with-"
"Just make them breakfast and leave." Elliot spat. Olivia had lost all her spark, so she didn't say anything else to him.
She went into the kitchen and started to make the boys eggs. While she waited for the bacon to start cooking, she made their lunches and started to prepare what they'd have for dinner tonight. During all of this, Elliot just drank his coffee and read the newspaper.
By the time Olivia was done, he was still just sitting there. She wanted to go over and kiss him or sneak out to see the boys, but she feared he'd get a lawyer and sue her for all rights to the boys. She had feared that the whole month that they've been apart.
"Dinner is in the crockpot. It should be good until tonight. Breakfast is ready for the boys and sitting in the oven so it stays warm. Uh, then their lunches are in the boxes and Joey's is in the fridge." Olivia whispered.
"Leave then." He spat. Olivia ran her hands through her hair as she restrained herself from crying.
"Bye." She croaked out. She knew that Elliot would take credit for this all, and she knew that he was probably telling her sons that she didn't want them anymore. He would do things just to make her seem like a horrible person, but if only he could see that his kids didn't believe him one bit.

The boys woke up and the older three got dressed and ready for school, while Elliot got Joey up and barely got him to the bathroom before he had an accident. Olivia left in the middle of potty training Joey, so now it was just Elliot trying to figure it all out.
When he got downstairs, he sat Joey in his high chair before getting into the oven and pulling out the plates Olivia had put in there.
"Here is your breakfast." Elliot spoke, as he sat it down in front of them.
"Who made this?" Cassidy asked, as he stood and walked to grab forks for himself and his brothers.
"I did." Elliot replied. Cassidy stopped and stared at his father as he got cups out and then grabbed the milk.
"No you didn't." Cassidy spoke.
"Excuse me? Watch your mouth, Cassidy." Elliot replied.
"You don't cook us eggs, Dad. Momma cooks us eggs and these look like what Momma would make us!" Cassidy huffed. He was sassier than he was when Olivia was here, and it just made Elliot so angry.
"Okay! Your mother was here and made your breakfast, lunches, and got dinner started. What's the big deal. I could totally make you breakfast like this!" Elliot boomed. Joey covered his ears and started to cry.
"You are two! Stop acting like a baby!" Elliot yelled, but that just made everything worse.

Elliot once again had to call Olivia. Joey was screaming and crying. He was so worked up that he got sick. Elliot sent the boys to school on the bus, but there was no stopping his youngest from crying.
"Where is he?" Olivia asked as she walked into the house through the garage door again.
"In the bathroom. He threw up all over himself." Elliot spoke. He was sitting at the table just ignoring his kid.
"You should be trying to calm him down. He is so upset." Olivia whispered.
"It's all your fault, Olivia. It's your fault that he is upset and that our marriage is over with!" Elliot screamed.
"It's over with because you slept with another woman. Because I fucking forgave you for that because I had a newborn baby at home and a toddler. If I would've been able to get out while I still could, I wouldn't have kissed Brian because I would've been happy! I did one wrong thing in the 6 years we have been married, and I'm the issue. I'm the one who is paying for a marriage where you got away with everything. So as of right now, you are out of my damn house. Pack up your shit and leave, because our kids deserve better than you."
