Twenty-Three

Olivia stared into Elliot's blue eyes and didn't see her husband anymore. She stared at him as her heart beat out of her chest.

"Let her go, Elliot!" Brian exclaimed, but Elliot didn't look away from Olivia.

"Do you want to get hurt, Olivia? Because if you pull something like that again, I will hurt you." Elliot smiled, before letting go of her shirt. She stumbled back and didn't say a thing.

"Elliot, don't you dare threaten her!" Brian spat, but Elliot was still on a warpath.

"Get the hell out of my house. If you don't, I'll call the police!" Elliot spat. Olivia quietly walked over to Brian and grabbed his hand. She led him from the room and swallowed hard as she opened the front door.

"Please go, okay? I'm going to be okay. I promise." Olivia whispered, but Brian didn't believe her.

"I'm going to call the police," Brian spoke, and Olivia swallowed hard.

"He isn't Elliot anymore. He'll kill me. We just need to get over this. I'll figure out a way for you to see Cassidy." Olivia whispered, her voice barely audible.

"Get the boys and-" Cassidy started, but then Elliot came over and grabbed Olivia by her hair and pulled her into the house. Cassidy watched in horror as Elliot threw Olivia to the ground before slamming the door shut and locking it. Brian started to cry, as he ran down the path and to his car. He pulled his phone out and dialed Cragen's number.

"Manhattan SVU, Captain Cragen speaking."

"Don, it's Brian. Elliot is hurting Liv, and I can't get him to stop." Brian cried.

"What? What do you mean?" Cragen asked.

"He's hurting because she stood up to him! Please, come to their house!"

"Okay, calm down. We will be there soon. Stay outside and wait." Cragen replied, but then even he heard Olivia's screams. Brian dropped his phone on the ground and went running up the path. He slammed his body against the door, something he hasn't done in so long, and he stumbled into their house.

"Get out, Brian!" Olivia screamed, from where Elliot held her to his chest, his gun pressed against her temple. Brian was sobbing because he couldn't stand this. He walked over to them, and he took a shaky breath.

"Do you want the last time your sons see you, to be the moment you kill their mother?"

Brian stood beside Olivia and held her close as Fin handcuffed Elliot and led him from the house. The boys were taken to their sitters by Amanda, so then it was just the crew, Brian, and Olivia left in the house.

"You saved me," Olivia whispered, and Brian sighed.

"I think I fucked up my shoulder." Brian sighed.

Olivia looked over at him before hugging him tightly. She rested her head against his not injured shoulder. She was still crying quietly, and she didn't know what to do. Elliot almost killed her, and she couldn't help but think about how the boys almost had to be raised by a monster.

"Love?" Brian whispered, and Olivia swallowed hard.

"Please don't call me that... I need to get to the boys. I-" Olivia shook her head when she thought about having to find a new place to live because she didn't feel safe in the house that has been her home for so long.

"Actually, you need to be checked out at the hospital. You have a bruise on your neck." Carisi spoke. Olivia looked at him and swallowed hard.

"Can you take me? I-i, I'm sorry Brian but I need to be away from this all."

"Of course, Liv. Call me later, okay?"

"Yeah. Thanks for breaking in the door."

Elliot sat in an interrogation room as Fin and Cragen watched him from outside the room. Elliot had calmed down a bit, but not enough to run to his wife and beg for forgiveness.

"Are you two going to come in and talk to me?" Elliot asked. The door opened and if looks could kill, Fin would have killed Elliot.

"What the hell has happened to you? First, you kick Liv out. Then she kicks you out and you get in trouble for coming to work drunk. Next thing we know you are trying to kill your wife." Fin huffed.

"She has a thing for Brian. She doesn't want to have any more kids with me. Let alone the fact that she made fun of me in front of my kids. What happened, had to happen."

"You didn't need to hold a gun to her head! You didn't need to pick her up by her shirt and threaten her. Oh, and that clump of her hair we found on the floor from when you grabbed her by it? Elliot, you can't pass go now. You are going to jail, and I hope you rot there." Fin spoke, as he tried to stay as calm as possible. It was hard for him because Olivia is like his little sister, and finding out what he did to her and seeing her so broken hurt him deeply.

"You are officially fired," Cragen spoke, and Elliot rolled his eyes.

"Sure. Like you are going to fire your best detective." Elliot laughed.

"Our best detective is in the hospital with a fractured collarbone. And she'll be having full custody of your kids, and you'll be rotting in prison." Fin spoke.

"I hurt her?" Elliot asked, and he looked almost shocked.

"Yeah. You hurt her in more than one way. If we wouldn't have gotten to you, what would you have done next?" Cragen asked.

"I would've forced her to have another baby with me. I know deep down that she wants one." Elliot replied. Cragen shook his head and Fin stormed out before he beat the shit out of Elliot.

He was going to rape Olivia just because she didn't want to have another baby with him.

Olivia laid in the hospital bed and stared at the wall in front of her. She didn't even look away when the nurses came in. But she did when Brian walked into her room.

"How are you doing?" He asked, and she frowned.

"I should've filed for divorce when I had the chance." She breathed.

"I'm sorry, Liv. This is all my-"

"He's so angry at me. This was my fault, not yours. I'm going to need your help with the boys." She whispered.

"I'll do anything you need me too." He spoke, and she nodded.

"Thanks, Bri. So the first thing I need you to do is go to my house and pack up all of Elliot's things. Take them to his hotel room. All of that information is on my bedside table. Then I need you to pack up stuff for all the boys and take them to their babysitter's house. Her information is on my desk downstairs." She spoke, and Brian nodded.

"I can do that, Livvie. Want me to come back when I'm done?" He asked, and Olivia nodded slowly.

"Please. I don't want to be alone right now. I need my family."
