Olivia and Elliot gave their son some time to calm down a bit. They sat in the kitchen drinking coffee, while Cassidy was upstairs in his room. He was laying face down on his bed, sobbing like when he had that accident while his father was taking care of him and his brothers.

His life had been turned upside down all of a sudden. He was so confused about how the man who has been his Daddy his whole life, wasn't really his father. That Uncle Brian was his father, and Cassidy was so confused about how this happened.

Cassidy sat up in his bed, and ran his small hands over his face, before yelling for his parents. Olivia and Elliot made it into his room in only a few seconds, but they didn't move from the doorway.

"Are you okay, baby?" Olivia whispered.

"Why didn't Uncle Brian stay around?" He asked, and Olivia swallowed hard. She walked over to where he sat, and she gently ran her fingers through his hair.

"Because he was still not mature enough to be a father. If he had been, he would've stayed around. But, Cass, if he hadn't left your Daddy and I wouldn't have been together and you wouldn't have Hunter, Danny, and Joey as your siblings." Olivia breathed.

"Did he not love me?" Cassidy whispered. He had grown up in a home where everyone loves everyone. Every night before bed, Cassidy and his brothers got a story read to them. Then once they were all tucked into their bed, their parents would sit on the edges of their beds and tell them how much they loved them, and how lucky they were to have these boys in their lives.

"Baby, he loved you deep down. He just had to realize that. That's why he came back. He agreed to be your Uncle so we didn't hurt you."

"But you hurt me, Momma!" He sobbed. Olivia felt her heartbreak, and she frowned deeply as Elliot came over and sat beside them.

"We are both so sorry, Cassidy. Please know that if Brian and your Momma would've been able to make it work, I wouldn't have kept this from you."

"I want to talk to him," Cassidy whispered.

"I-i'll go call him." Olivia breathed, as she struggled to think about how her relationship with her son might be ruined forever.

When Brian got the call from Olivia, he felt like he was dreaming. He didn't believe that he would get the chance to know his son, as his son. He was tired of just acting like his uncle, but he was doing it for Cassidy and for Olivia. Now Cassidy knew, and now it was his chance to be a real father to him.

"Olivia?" Brian breathed, as Olivia answered the front door. Her eyes were red and puffy and a few tears were on her cheeks.

"He's upstairs. He wants to talk to you." She whispered.

"Liv, are you sure this is what should happen?"

"We told him, I guess that this is what has to happen." She replied. Brian stepped forward and hugged Olivia tightly, before hearing Elliot clear his throat. They parted and Olivia walked over to Elliot and held onto him tightly. Elliot rubbed her back as he nodded slightly toward Brian. He nodded back before walking towards and then up the stairs.

He walked down the hall and looked at Cassidy. He sat on his bed, holding onto his Clifford stuffed animal.

"Do you love me? Like my Daddy loves me?" Cassidy asked.

"Yeah, bud. I love you." He replied.

"Is it okay if I call Elliot my Daddy still?" Cassidy asked, and Brian nodded.

"Of course, bud. He's raised you."

"What can I call you?" Cassidy questioned, as he still didn't make eye contact with his biological father.

"Whatever you want to call me, Cass. Dad... Papa... whatever you want."

"Momma said that you weren't ma... you know what word I mean, enough to be my Dad."

"I wasn't mature, and she's right. Cassidy, I didn't want to be a father. I'm going, to be honest with you about everything."

"What were you doing when I was a baby?" Cassidy asked.

"I was doing some very bad things. I was doing things that you should never do."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"Because your parents and I made a deal. I could still be in your life, but I couldn't be your father." Brian spoke. Cassidy looked up at him and frowned.

"I'm angry at all of you." He whispered.

"And you deserve to be. So when you are ready, all three of us, all of your parents will be waiting downstairs ready to talk to you." Brian breathed. He walked towards his son and placed a soft kiss to his silky brown curls.

"Cassidy, can you do something for me?" Brian asked, and Cassidy frowned deeply.

"Depends." The small boy huffed.

"Don't be angry at your Momma. She did her best to make sure you were happy and had a father figure in your life. Elliot is a great father, and I wouldn't have been."

Olivia laid in her bed that night, a book in her hands and her glasses on. She was trying to pay attention to what she was reading, but she wasn't obtaining any of it. As she finally decided to put it away for the night and try to sleep, there was a small knock on her bedroom door.

"Come in." She breathed. The door opened and Cassidy walked in. His curls were a mess from trying to sleep, and his pajamas were wrinkled.

"Momma?" He asked, and Olivia quickly climbed out of bed.

"Yeah, honey?" She asked, as she walked over and squatted down in front of him.

"Brian told me that I shouldn't be angry at you because you did what you had to do. You married Daddy so I could be happy. So you could be happy. And I'm not angry at you anymore. I'm angry at Daddy and Brian for keeping this from me." Cassidy breathed. Olivia picked her son up and carried him back over to her bed. She laid him down before cuddling him close.

"We all just love you so much, and we want you to be happy."

"I love you, Momma," Cassidy whispered.
