"What girl names do you like? I like Ollie," Ollie hums as she fused metal on the outside of the ship together with a blow torch.
"That's not even a girl's name," Ace contradicted as he sat on a stool beside the table Ollie's back faced. "Emma sounds better."
"Ollie is unisex," Ollie argued.
"Your mother must've believed so," Ace dully replies. Coralie hid a smirk at the two's bicker, glad that they had become friends over the course of the past few days. She had introduced her two friends and they had quickly become a trio, although Ollie and Ace couldn't go an hour without a single form of dispute.
"Isla sounds sweet," Riley, a boy who had been rescued along with Ollie, says.
"That's a nice name," Harper contributes as she looks over the blueprints on the table.
"Sounds pretty," Coralie hums, although names were the last thing on her mind.
"Ollie can be short for anything," Ollie retorts, neither her or Ace hearing a single word from Riley, Harper or Coralie.
"I can name a few - Oliver, Olaf, Olsen-" Ace counters, causing Ollie to roll her eyes.
Coralie opens her mouth, but the sound of thunder beats her to it. Everyone looks up to the clouds, rain forming in the mist.
"Black rain," Harper initiates.
Everyone heads inside, alarms blaring. Coralie and Ace hastily helping Ollie down from the ladder before pulling her into the ship with them.
Monty began to close the door but stopped when he saw Jasper standing not to far from the entry gates. "Jasper, c'mon!" He shouts, but Jasper doesn't move.
"Jasper, what are you doing?" Harper shouts.
"Can't live your life in fear," Jasper shrugs.
"Run!" Ace yells. Jasper stays rooted to the ground, looking up at the sky as it began to rain, sticking his tongue out to catch the drops.
Monty went to race and get him, but Riley and Harper held him back. "Monty, you can't! You can't!"
Monty screams for his best friend's name as he's pulled back into the ship, everyone's eyes on Jasper who began to choke and fell to his knees.
