A thunderstorm rolled in just before our game against Slytherin. As we prepared for the game to begin, hovering off of the ground, waiting for the Quaffle to be released, the clouds broke open, pouring rain down onto us. I looked to Fred, who smiled at me. I returned the smile and the game began. Angelina was first to get the Quaffle, flying for the goal. She scored, gaining us 10 points.
The game continued on, Slytherin only scoring once. We had already reach 130 points, dominating the other team. Alicia threw the Quaffle high into the air, so I chased it heard A into the sky, catching it and still going up. I slowed down and briefly paused. No one had followed me, which was odd. Through the blur of rain, I know that I saw something. It grew larger, and by the time I had realized what it was, the Bludger hit my left shoulder, clearly knocking it out of place. I dropped the Quaffle as the pain surged through my arm, and I had neither hand on my broom. The rain made the wood of my broom slick, causing me to fall right off.
As I fell, I grew light headed and went in and out of consciousness. I didn't land on the ground, however, but I landed in a pair of arms. "Liz, are you okay?" I only grunted in response. I continued to hold my shoulder as whoever caught me called for a timeout. "I need Madam Pomfrey! Quickly!" Everything faded to darkness.

"Do you think she's okay?" A voice asked.
"I don't know, Madam Pomfrey said she took a nasty blow to the shoulder. We're thinking it was that Bludger." A second voice replied.
"Will she be able to finish the season?" A third voice chimed in. Angelina?
"Most likely. She just needs a quick healing potion and she'll be good as new." The second voice spoke again. It was Georgie.
"She has to be awake to drink it, though," Said the first voice: Fred.
"Thanks Captain Obvious," I croaked, opening my eyes to find most of the Quidditch team around me. Fred, George and Angelina smiled.
"Hey, kid," Wood said. "You took a bit of heat out there, today. How ya feeling?"
"Not the best, but I'll manage," I replied, switching my gaze over to the twins. They had dirt on their faces, and a pitiful, yet concerned, look of which they shared.

Most of the team left at this point, except for the twins. "You sure you're okay?" Fred asked.
"Yeah," I replied with honesty. "What happened, anyways?"
"Do you not remember?" George asked.
"Barely. I remember the Bludger hitting my shoulder, then I slipped off my broom. That's where it goes fuzzy."
"Well, lucky for you, Fred over here managed to catch you so you wouldn't hit the ground and die," George said.
"Then I called a timeout, got Madam Pomfrey to take you in here to help you, then we finished the game. An hour later, we all came down here to see how you were doing. Then you woke up," Fred finished.
"Did we win the match?" I asked eagerly.
"'Did we win the match?' Uh, yeah we did!" George said proudly. "150 to 10."
"Seriously?" I said with a smile.
"Hells yeah!" Fred cheered. "It was bloody brilliant. I wish you could have seen how everyone reacted to our big win. It was amazing."
"Oh hey," George said after a short pause. "I was supposed to meet Angelina in the common room soon."
"Then go on ahead," I told him. "You don't need my permission."
"You sure it's okay?"
"Yeah." George briskly walked away, headed back to the common room. "Oh, Georgie, what are you getting yourself into now?"
"Who knows," Fred replied. "Anyways, we have a trip to Hogsmead tomorrow. Care to join me at the Three Broomsticks for a butterbeer?"
"Of course. I'll go anywhere with you guys," I answered happily.
"Great!" Fred smiled brightly. I loved that smile. It would make me happy no matter the circumstances any time I see it. I smiled back, unable to hold myself back. I was once again lost in his deep brown eyes, excitement seeping through. He seemed to notice, locking his eyes onto me too. He cleared his throat, both of us looking away at once. "I'll get Madam Pomfrey so you can take that medicine to heal your shoulder. I'll see you tomorrow then?"
"Yeah. Right." I barely said. Fred left to get Madam Pomfrey, leaving me to question why I kept getting lost in my best friend's eyes.
