"Come on, you don't live in the middle of nowhere for nothing!" I shouted to the twins from midair. I had already been on my Firebolt, but the twins were out here to try theirs out. "Surely you don't want a girl to teach you how to handle a Firebolt, do you?"
"You're evil, Liz!" George shouted back, mounting his broom at the same time as Fred.
"Truly!" Fred added.
"Just hurry up, will ya?!?" Ron yelled.
Ron, Ginny, and I were planning to start a free-for-all snowball fight on brooms, which the twins were not expecting. We just wanted to get them in the air and then pummel them with snowballs.
"Seriously!" Ginny said in a joking manner.
"Alright, alright!" Fred kicked up from the ground and took off really fast, flying past me and nearly out of sight in the heavy-falling snow. "Woooaaahhh!!!" He managed to slow himself down and turn around to look at us, then flew back at a controlled speed.
"That was bloody brilliant!" Ron remarked.
"George, you next!" I shouted.
The words brought back a memory of our third year at Hogwarts. Molly had mixed up the twins when she had said, "Fred, you next." Then George pointed to the real Fred and replied with, "He's not Fred, I am. Honestly woman," and Fred had added, "You call yourself our mother." And as soon as the real Fred got in front of the entrance to the platform, he said to Molly, "I'm only joking, I am Fred." I had died laughing and couldn't stop until after we got on the train. It was probably the funniest thing I had ever seen at the time.
George took off just as fast as Fred, but found control quicker, completing our midair circle. I looked at everyone with a smile. "Race ya," I said to the twins.
I took off back towards the house, both of them followed suit, and even Ron and Ginny joined in. I swerved around the Burrow and back towards the make-shift Quidditch field. I dipped low enough to the ground and held my arms out on either side of me and touch the snowy ground, picking up as much as I needed. I flew back upwards and packed it into a snow ball. I slowed to a stop as I reached our spot on the ground, my boots crunching the fresh snow. I held the snowball behind my back, so no one would see it.
Fred was the first to arrive, followed by George a second later, then Ginny, then Ron in last. "Beat'cha!" I stated with a big grin. The twins simultaneously rolled their eyes.
"Yeah yeah," Fred said. "But you've had more experience with the Firebolt than we have-"
"Excuses, excuses," I replied, interrupting him. I added the next bit with a tinge of sarcasm, "Never known a Weasley twin to make those."
"Hey!" They shouted at once, but they both knew already that I was joking. While they were distracted, I pulled my arm back with the snowball in hand and chucked it at Fred's chest. It hit him with a thump.
"You want to play that way, do ya?" Fred picked up snow in a messy clump and threw it at me.
"You have just declared war!" I yelled playfully, all of us drop our brooms and continuing our free-for-all snowball fight, which had been preplanned by yours truly, along with the youngest of the Weasley bunch. It wasn't on brooms like we had originally wanted it to be, but we all still had fun nonetheless.

"Come on in, guys!" Arthur shouted from the doorway. "It's getting dark out! We have hot butterbeer inside!"
"Ooh!" I ran up to the porch, stomping the snow off my boots before walking inside. I was followed by Ginny, then Ron and the twins. Arthur closed the door as the rest of us took off our gloves, coats and shoes, all the while absorbing the heat of the indoors.
We sat down at the table and Molly placed a big mug of steaming hot butterbeer in front of us, along with some of my mom's homemade chocolate ship cookies. We drank the brew and ate what we were given, then headed upstairs to talk some more.
