I looked up to see the face of Draco Malfoy, a blonde haired boy who had never seen good light from my eyes, aiming his wand at Rookwood. Anger was in his eyes, too, but as he looked at me, he seemed to have regret in his eyes. Pity, even. He ran away, leaving Rookwood dead on the floor, which sent an uneasy satisfaction through me. George froze for a moment, seeing that his brother's killer was dead at last. He then proceeded to drag me off to somewhere. We made it back to the Great Hall, where the rest of the Weasleys had gone.

We made it just in time to see Ginny barely be missed by a spark of green light, one I recognized as the Killing Curse. Ginny backed down, seeing that Bellatrix LeStrange was much too powerful for her to take on. Molly stepped up onto the bench where Ginny had just been, spitting the words at Bellatrix, "Not my daughter you bitch!" she shot a spell at her, causing Bellatrix to get angry. Molly had blocked several spells.

"What will happen to your children once I've killed you? When Mummy's gone the same way as Freddie?" Belltrix taunted.

"How dare you?!?!" I screamed at her. I shot a petrifying curse at her, causing Bellatrix to turn to stone.

"Never touch my children again!" Molly yelled, firing another spell at Bellatrix, turning her into dust.

I still held onto George's hand. I couldn't let go. I didn't want too. He reminded me of Fred, every little thing he said and did was just like his brother. Naturally, they were twins, but he cared for me more than I knew. I saw him as an older brother beforehand, and I love him as such, until now. I saw him as the best friend I always needed. And soon enough, the fight was over. Voldemort was dead. It was all...... over.

Four months later. I found my parents and restored their memoried weeks after the war ended. I moved in with the Weasleys, who were gladly accepting me into the family, even though I had been widowed months ago and was no longer legally their family. It was not at all smooth rolling afterwards.

George and I had to sort through Fred's belongings together, and I kept three things for my own: his wand, the jacket he had given me the day after I had lost my memories, and a photo album of the two of us together. It was hard trying to move on so soon, but it was a good cleanse. George kept things for himself, as well. A lot of his brother's clothes were packed into boxes, boxes that George kept hidden away somewhere I would never learn of. The two of us grew closer than ever before after Fred died, not spending a day apart. I even worked with him at Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, taking over Fred's position.

Life seemed bearable for a while. And as soon as things were calming down, the baby came.
