My fear of heights never really gets to me, especially not on the Quidditch pitch. I've always been so focused on the game, that I never take the time to acknowledge the fact of how high up I really am. But as we got to our seats for the World Cup, my eyes widened at the distant memory that was the ground.
The stairs we were climbing suddenly felt unsteady, as if ready to break at any second. I gripped the railing tighter as we were almost to our seats at the very top of the stadium. We finally reached out seats and I really had good view of how high our seats were. I looked down to the ground beneath us and held my breath for a moment.
"You okay, Ellie?" Fred asked. I nodded, my eyes still wide and not a word could be spoken from my lips. "Is it the height?" I nodded again. "Come here, you'll be just fine."
I stepped over between Fred and Ron, Fred keeping his arm around me the whole time. I felt safer in his arms, feeling the warmth radiating off of him in the cool, night air of summer. Suddenly, at least a hundred women ran out onto the field, dancing gracefully. The boys were immediately intrigued, these weren't just any women, they were veela. Hermione, Ginny and I rolled our eyes as the boys all gazed at them longingly.
"Freddie, look at that!" George pointed at the veela. "They're beautiful!"
"Knock yourself out, Georgie," Fred said, pulling me closer to him. "I don't need veela, I've got my own right here." I blushed uncontrollably.
"Aww," Ron teased. "Fred and Elizabeth, sittin in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-!" Fred smacked his brother's shoulder. "Ow!"
"Shut up, Ron," Fred joked. "You're so immature."
"Have you met yourself?" I remarked.
"Fair point, fair point," Fred nodded, returning his eyes to the field as the veela left, anticipating the arrival of the Irish.

Later on, we were all celebrating the victory of the Irish. Ron was talking about Viktor Krum, who had definitely caught my eye. We heard loud crashes from outside. "Sounds like the Irish have got their pride on!" Fred said with a big fat smile.
Arthur rushed into the tent with a look of concern resting heavy on his face. "It's not the Irish," he said. "We need to get out of here. Now."
We all grabbed our wands and scrambled out of the tent, looking around to see flames shooting up from several different places, the sound of screams ringing in our ears and people running away and disapperating all over the place.
"Fred, George. Ginny is your responsibility!" Arthur took Percy, Bill and Charlie to go help the Ministry and left the rest of us to fend for ourselves. The four oldest disappeared quickly into the crowd, and someone in a black cloak with a big pointed hood approached us. They aimed their wand at Ginny.
"Ginny!" I shoved her back into the arms of Fred and George, firing a spell back at the Death Eater, creating a stream of green and red. "Get out of here! Go!"
I heard Ginny, the twins, Ron, Harry and Hermione run off, leaving just me against this Death Eater. I broke the stream, sprinting away from whoever had tried to attack us. Naturally, as would happen in any scary movie, I tripped over something, allowing the Death Eater to gain on me. They shot another spell at me, but I blocked it, beginning to run again. Finally, I reached the edge of the woods, losing the Death Eater in the crowd of people.
"Ellie! You're okay!" George called out. I spotted them and ran over to them.
"Now isn't the time for a cozy catch up, lets get to the port key," I replied, searching the grounds for the old, dirty boot. I spotted it and we all ran for it. We grabbed on and began to spin. We landing roughly on top of a hill, finding our way back to the Burrow through the woods. Molly was in the kitchen washing dishes, using magic, of course.
We rushed inside, to Molly's surprise. "What are you doing home so soon? Where are the others?"
"We don't know," George said.
"Death Eaters attacked the campgrounds, they had to go with the Ministry to help out," Fred added.
"Oh my," Molly said. "You're sure they were Death Eaters?"
"Sure as day," Ginny budded in.
"Wait-," I said, looking between everyone who was in the house. Fred, George, Ginny, Ron, Hermione. "Where's Harry?" Everyone went wide-eyed. Harry didn't come back with us.
I ran out the door, and at that same moment, Fred called out, "Elizabeth!" I kept running, all the way through the trees and back to the port key. I caught my breath for a moment, finding that Hermione and Ron had followed right after me. I spotted the twins at the edge of the woods and grabbed onto the port key, Harry's two friends grabbing on as well.
Once again, we landed on our backs in the middle of the woods near the campgrounds for the World Cup. We got up and searched around the grounds for ages. Everyone had seemed to have gone already. Tents were burned, a few scattered bodies around the place, which I had to quickly look away from, also making sure Ron and Hermione didn't see them.
After almost two hours of searching, we heard someone yell a curse, "MORSMORDRE!" A large and green symbol appeared in the sky, consisting of a skull with a snake emerging from its mouth. The Dark Mark. Only I seemed to spot it or hear the person yell the words, but it made sense considering Hermione and Ron had spotted Harry.
"Harry!" Hermione yelled as they caught up to him.
I walked up with them, all of us very close together. Several Ministry members appeared from every angle and aimed their wands at us. I pulled everyone to the ground as they all yelled, "Stupefy!"
"No! That's my son!" Arthur Weasley pushed his way through the Ministry members and rushed up to us.
Harry was questioned about the Dark Mark by Barty Crouch and the Ministry members followed the direction Harry pointed out to them, saying he had seen a man. That must have been the man who yelled "Morsmordre."
"Ellie!" Fred yelled as he and George ran up to us from out of nowhere, it seemed, and both wrapped their arms around me. "There you are. We've been looking everywhere for you."
"Sorry, I couldn't leave Harry here alone," I apologized as they let go of me.
"It's okay, but next time, can you at least tell us what you're doing before you run off with no explanation?" George asked.
"No promises, but I'll do my best."
