The rest of the night was full of laughs, smiles and dancing. At around 11 that night, we finally called it quits, deciding we ought to get some sleep. Oh, and Fred had the courage to call me his girlfriend, so, at last, it is official. I wrote to my parents immediately after I returned to my dorm. I asked them if they could meet us at the Burrow and spend our Christmas celebration with me and the Weasley's.

I took a shower and hung up my dress, laying in my bed with pajamas and a book. An hour after sending my letter, Celestia appeared back in the dorm window. She flew back over to me and handed my the response.

My dearest Elizabeth,

I am very much thankful you asked to spend time with the Weasley's and choose to invite us to their home. We have corresponded with them and we have all agreed that we will be spending the rest of the holidays together.

With love,
Mum & Dad

I almost screamed with joy, but considered that everyone else was sleeping, so I did a silent happy dance. I set the letter on my dresser and turned off my light, laying down to sleep.

"Come on, guys," I called from next to the train back to Fred, George, Ron and Ginny. "We're gonna miss the train!"

"We might, but you won't. You can easily get on at any time," Fred commented with a smirk.

"Do you two ever not joke around?" I asked, stepping onto the train as everyone else caught up to me.

"Hey! I didn't even say anything!" George defended himself. We all found a compartment and put our stuff above us.

"But you were thinking it," I smiled at the twins, who were obviously side by side.

"Well, you've got me there," George replied. I laughed lightly and sat next to the window, with Fred to my immediate right, then George. Ron and Ginny sat across from us.

"So, what brings you along to the Burrow?" Ron asked. "Especially on holiday?"

"No reason," Fred and I managed to say at the same time, causing both of us to awkwardly look in opposite directions.

"Is something up with you two, or what?" George budded in. "Just last week you were completely avoiding each other."

"Yeah, what have we missed?" Ginny asked. "Are you guys snogging in secret now?"

"Ginevra Molly Weasley!" George shouted as the train took off. "You are too young to know what that means! Good lord!"

"I'm 13!" Ginny replied, hating the use of her full name. "It is perfectly okay for me to know that. Besides, I bet you are just as curious as I am to know."

Everyone looked back to me and Fred, who shared a quick look, then scanned the other three ginger haired kids peering at us with hawk eyes. They weren't looking away any time soon, so I suppose they need answers.

"We-" Fred spoke at the same time I did, saying, "I-" I sighed and tried again. "He-" We spoke at the same time again. "It-"

"This isn't going anywhere," Ron said. "Fred, explain yourself."

"Um.... Okay.... I-... We-..." Fred stumbled over his words, probably feeling awkward about having to explain the fact that we kissed to his younger brother, sister and twin in from of the girl he kissed.

"Alright," I said, after taking a long and deep breath to calm my nerves. "You caught us. Last night, at the ball, we kissed. Okay? Happy now?"

"Ha! I knew it!" George shouted with a quick fist pump of victory.

"Now was that so hard?" Ginny asked rhetorically.

"Yes," I whispered for no one else to hear. I cleared my throat and looked at Fred. He already had his eyes fixed on me. A tiny smile took over him, as it did me, and it was the same smile he had had on when I walked down those stairs the night before.

"But how can we believe you?" Ron asked with a smirk. He was up to something. "How do we know you aren't lying?"

"Why would we need to lie?" I returned a question.

"I don't see a need to, but how can we be sure that you aren't?" Ron kept on prying. I knew what he was wanting, and I think I might play along with his little game.

"What do you want, proof?" George budded in again.

"Yes. That's exactly what I want," Ron answered.

"Fine," I said, deciding to play along. I looked at Fred for a second, who looked confused, even though he probably had a gut feeling that be knew what I was about to do. I leaned in and I kissed him. He kissed me back, his left hand resting on my cheek. It wasn't nearly as long as our kiss at the ball, or the one in the tent, but it lasted long enough to put shock on the faces of the three sitting with us. I pulled away and smiled evily at them. "Is that proof enough for you?"
