As we walked back towards the school after an eventful day at Hogsmead, I held Fred's hand, and it oddly felt normal. Like we have done it a million times before. But something else happened on our way back; we ran into Draco and his crew.
"Ah, Good Girl Ginger, I see you are still hanging out with Weasleys. Honestly, these pureblood disgraces shouldn't be hanging around with you," Draco barked.
"Can you not come up with anymore insults, Draco? Or do Mommy and Daddy still think you can't handle yourself?" I sneered.
"Shut it, you filthy little Mudblood," Draco fired back.
"How many times do I have to tell you, Malfoy," Fred was pissed now. "Leave her alone."
"Did I say for you to speak, Weasley?" Draco asked.
"No because I can speak whenever and wherever I please to whomever I want. You don't own me, Malfoy. You're just a good for nothing little brat that has nothing better to do than buy their way onto their crappy Quidditch team and call muggle borns Mudbloods all day."
"Damn straight," George added.
Draco pulled out his wand, causing the three of us to do the same. Crabbe and Goyle pulled out their wands as well. "I told you to hush up, Beaters," Draco snapped. "So shut it, or face the consequences."
"What, are you gonna go tell your father about this?" George mocked.
"I can do much worse," Draco threatened.
"Like what? Tell your mum?" Fred added.
Draco paused, scrunching up his face in anger. "You asked for it," he mumbled. "Obliviate!"
"NO!"

I woke up in the common room. Two redhead boys, twins, rather, were sitting in chairs across from the couch I was on. I sat up quickly, pressing my back into the couch, afraid. I pulled out my wand and pointed it at them.
"Hey, Liz, put the wand down," The one on the left said. "It's just me. You're okay."
"Who are you?" I asked, pointing my wand at the one on the left.
"You don't remember?" The same guy asked, a tear escaping him. He wiped it away and looked at his twin. "George, what are we gonna do? Madam Pomfrey can't undo an Obliviation."
"We try our best to make her remember. Maybe spark something that will jog her memory," George had said. He then turned to me, so I pointed the wand at him. "Elizabeth, put the wa-"
"How do you know my name?" I asked.
"How could we not?" Fred asked. "You're our best friend. We've known you since first year."
"Then how come I don't remember you? I don't have any friends, not any redhead twins, anyways." I replied. "Who are you?"
"Liz, Draco Malfoy hit you with an Obliviation charm and erased your memories of us. My name is Fred, and that's George. We play Quidditch with you, the team Beaters. We met in first year on Platform 9 and 3/4. I know you remember us. Somewhere deep down, I know you do. We just need to help you get your memories back. Please let us help you," said the one on the left, Fred. I knew that name. It was similar to deja vu. I just couldn't place where I had heard it before.
I put my wand down, allowing the twins to sigh in relief. I said three words that led me onto a brand new journey: "I trust you."
