I gave each if the twins a big hug, so glad that they had finally figured out how to bring back my memories and that we were all best friends again. I had missed the way we had been, even though it hasn't been all that long. But one moment had stood out to me the most when I had forgotten them, it was the moment in our way here, to the tents. The moment when Fred had looked at me the way he did. When he gave me his jacket and took my hand in his, as if he needed it more than I did. And honestly, it was even weirder that I was okay with it. I didn't remember either of them, and no one would hold hands and take the jacket from a stranger, but I think that deep down I had really remembered them after all.
We headed towards the fencing by the Shrieking Shack, not yet ready to have to re-explain what all went down these last two days to the whole school, to stop the rumors, the stop the drama. Speaking of drama...
"Well well well, if it isn't my least favorite Mudblood," Great. Draco Malfoy. The three of us turned around to face Draco, Crabbe and Goyle. "Still forgotten your boyfriends, have you?"
"You never learn when to shut your mouth, do you, Blondie?" I spat back with an eyebrow raised.
"Watch who you're talking to, Mudblood," Draco returned.
"I said to shut your mouth, third year," I said with my voice raised a little bit louder than last time. "How many times I gotta tell you to zip it before you get it through your puny, dumb, unworthy-Pureblood brain? Huh, Malfoy?" He didn't say a word. "One of these days you're gonna learn that you're messing with the wrong people and karma is going to bite you right in the ass."
"And why shouldn't I need with you?" Draco kept on going. "Because your boyfriends are gonna come and use their little handbuzzer on me?" Draco mocked. "I see why you hang out with them now, Baker. You're all worthless."
Right then, a rush of anger surged through me quickly. I pulled my arm back and socked Draco in the face hard enough to give him a nose bleed and send him to the ground. Crabbe and Goyle immediately went to help Draco to his feet, who then continued to charge at me, but Fred stepped in the way, grabbing Draco's a fist before it would hit me.
He twisted Draco's wrist and said, "You'd better leave, Malfoy, before you get the bloody hell beat out of you." He shoved Draco by forcefully letting go of his fist, sending the three of them running for the hills.
I smiled, looking at Fred and George. "That felt good," I told them.
