*Kolfinna's POV*

I couldn't tell how long I'd been out for. I'd become numb all over for a while. I could no longer hear talking, that faded a while ago. I was beginning to get even more frightened than I already was. Everything seemed to be fading from me. I couldn't tell the day, the time, or whether I was still pregnant. Everything was running together. I had to open my eyes. Suddenly a flash occurred. A buzzing sound emitted through the darkness, and suddenly light began to spread. It was dim, everything was in black and white. I was standing in what appeared to be Chris' bedroom. But things were different. The guys weren't rowdy like their usual selves. They were scattered around the room, their heads bowed. The girls were holding onto their mates, refusing to look at the bed. I looked at where Chris was sitting. He was holding a tiny bundle, his head was down and he looked as if he was crying. I walked closer to him, placing a hand on his shoulder, stooping down to his level.

"Darling, please, look at me." I whispered, caressing his cheek and looking at him with sorrow filled eyes. But he didn't seem to hear me. He closed his beautiful dark brown eyes as tears slowly slipped from them. I looked at the bundle. A beautiful baby girl with dark black hair, white pale skin and big green eyes looked back at me. Could she see me? I reached down and touched her hand. She was ice cold, but she acknowledged my touch and my presence. I did what I was dreading and looked at the bed. My body laid motionless on the sheets, blood splattering my body. The stone had stopped pulsing on my chest. No. This isn't happening. I swiftly walked to the bed and pressed my hands to my body's chest. "I am not dying. I am not leaving him alone." I screamed, closing my eyes. The baby began to cry, I felt my spirit being pulled back into myself.

*Chris' POV*

The guys and I spent hours trying to save her and the baby. But I knew, in the end, only one of them was going to make it out alive. I couldn't look at her body, the wounds had closed, but the blood was everywhere. She had a girl. We had a girl. The baby was tiny, and very quiet. Sadly, she'd have to grow up not knowing her own mother. The guys were silent, their mates filled with gloom. I could hardly look my child in the face, she looked so much like Kolfinna. But suddenly the baby began to stir, she got fussy quick, and began thrashing in my arms. I didn't know what to do, I felt so lost without Kolfinna's guidance. I knew that she'd know what to do.

"Kylie what's wrong?" Devin asked Kylie. When I looked at her, she was staring dead ahead, her eyes wide, her body trembling. She collapsed to her knees and pointed at the bed as Devin held her. I quickly stood and looked at the spot to where she was pointing. Kolfinna's stone was pulsing. It was faint, but it was a pulse. I quickly handed off the baby to Kelly.

"Get her out of here, try and calm her." I demanded. She nodded and scurried from the room. I hurried to the bedside and gripped her hand. "You fooled me once, don't cut out on me again." I mumbled into her ear. Her eyes clenched and I felt her hand twitch in mine. "C'mon baby." I encouraged. Her nails suddenly dug into my hand, I could feel them drip blood, but I didn't care. She was the only thing I was thinking about. Her eyes snapped open and I was confronted with those stunning emerald orbs. I couldn't help the smile that broke across my face as I leaned down and kissed her. She smiled lovingly at me and held my cheek. The tears I had began to fall freely.

"W-where is she?" Kolfinna croaked. I looked at her, surprised.

"How did you know it was a she..." I drifted. Her smile broadened and she kissed me sweetly.

"Just a mother's guess." I cracked a smile and pressed my forehead against hers, holding her.

"She was crying. Kelly has her. I didn't want the fact that there was a baby screaming to shock you. She tried sitting up and I gently pushed her back down. "Your wounds are still healing. And I prefer she doesn't see her mommy like this." She nodded and held my hand.

"Well, as much as I love laying in smelly, hot, sticky, digested human blood, I'd much like to clean myself." She spoke.

"Alright, everyone out." I ushered. The guys said their goodbyes, and the girls blew kisses her way. I locked the door and walked back over to her, picking her up and carrying her to the tub.

"Damn I've missed this." She whispered, kissing my jaw."

"Hey now, this is the whole reason we have a kid now." I growled.

"I can't help it. I was in that coma for a while, I'm horny." She whispered the last part in my ear, nibbling at my lobe. I started undressing her and filling up the tub with warm water. I then proceeded to undress myself. I helped her in and then sat behind her, like old times. I rubbed her thighs and rinsed her hair out, ridding her of the stench of human blood. I fondled her breasts, and felt her soft spot. She whimpered at my forward ness.

"I'm sorry baby." She turned around and got on her knees, straddling my waist. She pressed down and wrapped a hand around my throat, squeezing lightly.

"Just shut the fuck up and kiss me."
